Hi people ! I'm new on the forum and i'd like your help. I'm trying to play starcraft broodwar with a friend at home we have only one copy of the game and we can't play on hamachi because his computer can't go on the internet. We can play UT2004 with just the ethernet cable but when we look for TCP IP game in broodwar we don't see any of the created games, there is nothing to join.
I don't really know how to create a lan network with a cable, what should we do ?
Thanks for your help !

Don't know how to help, but are you playing the actual good old broodwar, or the remastered version?

Is there a router/switch/hub being used between the two computers? If so, which? Is bonjour enabled? Is it remastered or 1.16 or something else?

It is the old one, with the latest patch. Between the two computer we just have an ethernet cable. Its enough to plau UT2004 together.

Set up Bonjour. It's necessary to see the games. Also, ensure that your router is not firewalling 6112 connections.

maybe its this very old "Lan"cable for direct play. Old BW had this option for direct play. Try that. Otherwise, make sure you are in the same Network, check your network adresses.
