So no, he was not a cheater, but a bug abuser. And Grant Davis said that this bug (amongst others) is forbidden in ladder. So if it was a ladder game and you actually want to do the effort, you can get your points back. But it is not really worth it honestly. Just go and play more and do not bother about bug abusers

Either by targeting each individual target you want to attack with the stack. Or use A-ground, which will target the closest unit it will encounter. No matter which one he uses you should be able to identify which one he used and move the attacked unit away from his stack. This will force him to re-stack (move towards gas) and do it allover again. This time you do the same. Identify which target the stack attacks and move the unit away.. If he specifically targets your CC, his stack wont attack you when you attack his stack with your units. If they actually do attack you after they have started to attack CC its an A-ground targeting which means you can move close to his stack and they will re-target your unit and then you can move it away. The stack attack is only so useful vs whoever doesnt know about it. And im pretty sure you can report him for using this hack in ladder and get him banned. Edit: And if you ever wonder why Blizzard doesnt fix this bug its because once they done that they will add more bugs.

#another_go_improve_stop_complaining_advice. I always remember what Day9 said about this. He mentioned that back then many people used maphacks and he still was able to kill them just by having more units and defend all the right places. Not implying that it's okay in any way, rather that this should not upset you as much at this level of play. You can still do it.
