Rewatched Golden Voyage Of Sinbad (classic old movie havent seen since is was a kid). Somewhat entertaining, I like the claymation for all the monsters and shit. Went to drop off some crap at the goodwill the other day. Found a bunch of VHS movies and I watched 'Mission To Mars' with Tim Robbins, kinda fell asleep in the middle of it but it seemed like a 'Contact' kind of movie. Was ok 5/10 | ||

Hated Batman Begins and had low expectations for this. The first half of the movie was pretty good actually and I liked it but it seemed like they tried to combine 2 movies into one (what the fuck is the deal with hollywood thinking longer movies = better movies?) , After about the time the joker was first caught the movie should have ended sooner around that and save all this Harvey Dent and other bullshit for another movie. I did notice that the fighting style and choreography was much better from the first one so that was a big plus for me. The movie was as close to rated R as you can get so that is pretty awesome. I guess lighting up the pile of money with the asian dude on it and then not showing him or hearing him screaming isn't rated R lol. Couple little things here and there that shouldn't have been in the movie like the cell sonar and other lame stuff, Rachel being ugly, etc. But the main thing wrong with the movie is that it was just too damn long. The should have saved the last half of the movie and built the next movie off of that. Overall I give it a 7.5/10 | ||

Also, Payback is one of the best movies I have ever seen [1999 version]. I'm going to watch the 2007 version and see what I think of the new ending. | ||

Anyways, Movies I've seen as of late: SST3: Marauder 6/10 wow part 3!?!??! This movie is no where near as bad as 2 but it can't compete with part 1. Its funny how they make bugs even more like zerg. + Show Spoiler + Brain bugs are like mind controlling cerebrates and there is a 'big bug' just like the over mind and they blow the shit out of its planet just like SC. Leprechaun 4/10 90s horror movie that fails at humor. Batman: Gotham Knight (anime) 5.5/10 This is sort of like the animatrix:matrix (prequel short stories) but for batman. Its not bad but its not really good either. I don't like the way they draw in the first story and a couple of the stories are uneventful and boring. I heard there were more of these on the way, I hope they are better. I just watched this very stupid and predictable movie called 'Awake' with my gf 1/10. The only highlight to the film is that it contains Jessica Alba half nude in the beginning, so if you must see it turn it off after that part. I think Hayden Christiansen (sic) should play the next series of batman movies because he is almost as unintelligible and has equally bad acting. To Live And Die In L.A. 4/10 The movie had potential but just ended up failing all over. bah Bank Job 6.5/10 Never even heard of this movie. Was actually pretty good. I wonder how much of the movie was exaggerated compared to the real story? + Show Spoiler + Like How they basically blackmailed 3-4 different parties and used them all on each other to their advantage. PS- Who were those long haired guys working for that killed the 2 lesser bank robber characters that split with the money asap? And why the fuck did they kill them? And how did they even find them? | ||
