There's serious potential for a whole month without hitting double digit on track overtakes though. Also Ocon to Renault, Magnussen confirmed so it's likely that Hulkenberg takes Grosjean's spot. Well if the Renaults keep having forced retirements, he will be in somewhat close scenario to what he has now. Still cant stand or value Ocon high enough to think he is warrant a seat but hei, what do I know.

Meanwhile Toto Wolf really cannot handle setbacks. Every time something happens and they are not p1-p2 he looks like he is about to throw up...

RIP Anthoine. It's so sad. He had a ton of potential and seemed like a great guy from what I saw. I can only hope he didn't suffer at all.

Norris winning driver of the day and having his car die like this is just ridiculously unlucky.

Also lol Max mistake xD That wasn't in any way shape or form Max's mistake, despite what the commentators said. Yes, Kimi wouldn't have been able to see him on the inside, but Max didn't teleport there. He would have had to know Max was going to be somewhere on the inside, and should have given the space. Don't get me wrong, it was a racing incident for sure. But it definitively wasn't Max's fault. Massively unlucky for Norris. He deserved that fifth. And praises to Albon. He really did deliver. With a sample size of exactly one race, he seemingly proves that Gasly really just was that slow.

I'd say that Albon was a little slower than Gasly, but considering its the first race, definitely potential there. Also, idk, if you're ahead by that much, I don't think the onus is on you to give space. Racing incident yes, but I'd put more blame on Verstappen for that judgement. So happy for Leclerc though, F1 has a bright future, just one more constructor team joining would be nice, can't wait for 2021.

Im not sure who is to blame more, however Max should expect absolutely no one to give him space anymore, if he is not willing to give any either. Austria may have been well within the rules, but incidents like that build a reputation very quickly.

Albon passed literally everyone he caught without too much fuss and made a helluva race of it. Albon proved in one race that he deserves the seat next year. https://cdn-b-east.streamable.com/video/mp4/5gojd_1.mp4?token=5qVmDe7StsZov5q2-Sj4FA&expires=1567478340 Watch those overtakes and tell me when this year has Gasly shown anywhere near the same level of talent. Pass through turn 9 on Ricciardo, multiple into bus stop. The aggression and pace isn't something Gaslys even hinted at all year. On the verstappen topic: He's level with the FI going into the braking zone. Kimi has already claimed the apex and verstappen brakes far too late, going 4 wheels off on the inside of la source in order to try the overtake. The FI moved way out in order to widen the corner and still braked earlier. Even if max had made it, he's going to spear across half the track on exit. Stupid move and deserves to crash, shame he ruined kimi's race as well See Norris's camera of the incident https://cdn-b-east.streamable.com/video/mp4/jjf0i.mp4?token=7NIy-EjrBy-dgUKe_ERuHw&expires=1567478280
