I'm kind of wishing it wasn't capped, even though I pushed really hard to get to the cap so I could chill for a bit lol

But they are doing beta testing internally now, so i would assume a normal beta will be back out in a few weeks, then that will be up the casual 6 weeks. So not to long

Man Blizzard are so good at making this CGI shorts, this has got me so hyped for a game im logging in for 40 minutes a week atm cuz im so stupidly bored. Yet they release this video and im like WOW, lets go! In un related note, i wish the whole WoW film they did was just like this and not how it was made.

Dont play hordemode so that has been no issue. Maybe if Id spent more time in the zones id hit something I should have flying by Thursday. Theres so much to do and theres no pressure to rush it.

E.g. in Mechagon there are 10 fish that you can catch in specific parts of the zone which give a daily quest for 25 rep each when handed in. In the alternate timeline there are 300 rep of dailies if you got in there and got the blueprint for the transporter at the weekend, that's 550 rep/day that most people don't do. In Nazjatar there are four giant tree dudes which unlock when you do certain things near them and have a chance to drop an extremely valuable reputation / follower exp item (worth 600 rep ea.). You have a chance at that item once per ancient per day.

All of this information was available. By the time I got back Chromie had already passed so I missed out on that. Reef walkers are pretty common knowledge I got a bark from one of Madivas games also which was new info for us. If you want to sit and play all day its not hard to get quickly. But if your on a 2 max 3 hour a day schedule then you have to be pretty efficient with your activities. Besides the barks from Reef Walkers seem to be capped. Ive done the reef walkers every day Since Saturday and my entire group is averaging 1 bark a week. The rest of the people in my group started day 1 and had flying since Monday.

You just had to be willing to read wowhead and reddit. I read both but you wouldn't know almost everything about the zones unless you did a lot of digging. Most of it is not explained in-game! Much of it is common knowledge now but wasn't well known only days ago since the patch is a week old.

Learning about it is what made it fun. Alot of the fun gameplay is "hey I got this.. dafuq is it for?" Thing with wow is, alot of gets figured out so quickly with all the discords and groups that basically focus on these things.

Idk if I'm just bored with the game in general or if the quests in these zones are particularly terrible. Playing as Alliance on Warmode didn't help either. I hope they scrap factions soon cause right now playing as Alliance is pure shit.

I wasn't able to even lose any war mode events because every time i was in a phase with the war mode event running i'd get rekt for about 5 minutes and then pulled into another phase where the event wasn't on (or i wasn't eligible for it).

I'd give Nazjatar like 5/10 to 7.5/10 without and with flying Biggest problems being: Gamebreaking phasing stuff ruining the events, my first three events were basically cancelled somewhere along the line without giving me any of the event rewards (even for losing or barely taking part) and it ruined my hype for the zone. Has gotten less bad since but still has its issues. layout/size that makes travel and finding things really awkward, especially without flying mob density too high / stuck in combat bugs, especially without flying slow/inconsistent rare spawns (much less fun than Argus design) More subjective, i also don't like the theme. The night elven bits are cool but it's quite jarring that they copy/pasted basically the whole city in the middle of Aszuna for it rather than building new assets - the whole multi-floored area that you run through with Farondis and the school. It's the same night elven ruins that we've seen a bunch of times before not just thematically but literally. Mechagon probably 8.5/10 making it one of the best max level zones released as of yet, there's clearly a handful of things that can be improved and it doesn't play as well without flying but antigrav packs help out with that a lot. Many things are done well/right! ---------------------------------------- It also helps that classes with way higher secondary stats, far more powerful azerite powers, essences and also basic tweaks like making mastery not a dead stat are actually reasonably fun to play now. E.g. on Havoc before Uldir, dedicating half of your azerite powers to Furious Gaze would give you *1.154x haste for 12 seconds after eye beaming. Significant, but not enormous on a low APM spec and coming at a huge cost as there's only 1.5 slots left over for other traits which impact gameplay. An absolute joke in the context of replacing artifacts, dual legendaries, 2p and 4p tier sets. -- In T2 high end raid gear with the azerite changes, doing the same thing gives you *1.467x haste for 12 seconds after eye beaming. It's more than three times as impactful! There are additionally 3 traits left over for unique gameplay-altering mechanics, some of which act synergistically. That's possible because there are twice as many azerite traits and because each trait gives over 1.5x the stats that it used to. That haste is not additive so it's not diminishing in power as we gear, it's a hard multiplier. Between a bit of (both no longer weak/bad) mastery and some Longstriders i'm running around w/ 132% movespeed instead of 110% again. In Legion i often sat around 140-150% but what can you do eh That increase makes melee somewhat playable as it feels awfully impractical anywhere near base run speed IMO!

I really really like Mechagon, its mostly due to the way the patterns. recipes and progression works the small size of the zone and gravity packs also made it a bit of a breeze. I did have one night where I had serious stuck in combat issues (got stuck in combat even after killing one mob after itself and wouldnt drop it, only hearthing resolved it. So I went to bed. I actually Nazjatar for all of the reasons you dont. Except the phasing issues. But I have not experienced anything other of the sort there. Although Ill probably get flying today after I get home so I am looking forward to experiencing more things. And do DH's even need movespeed? Pleexxxx
