Hello everyone! We have our next big event lined up. For those of you who don't know us, we're an organisation based in Italy and besides sponsoring and managing pro players, we also do a lot of events. So far we've done QLASH SC2 Invitational, QLASH Casters Invitational and QLASH Community Series. As always, we try to be active and to fill in the wholes in months where there is not enough SC2 to please our senses.
Enough small talk, we're super happy to announce QLASH SC2 Invitational 2nd Edition. Last year the format we came up with was quite successful and we are now copying a large part of it with some smoother edges. Hope you guys enjoy what we have planned!
The event will start on the Wednesday, Jun 05 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00), will have 2 groups of 6 players each that will play round-robin Bo5 matches - making this 5 rounds in total for the group phase. We will stream a round from each group a day (each stream will last three Bo5 matches) and most of the event will be Tuesdays and Thursdays but we do work our way around other major events. The stream will always start 17:00 GMT (+00:00) and the whole thing will be broadcasted on our dedicated SC2 channel:
We will do our best to make the event as fun and professional as possible with plenty of cool content around it. More information can be found below:
In terms of casting you can expect to have no other than our favorite Rotti and DeMusliM. We might come up with some guest casters here and there to keep the content fresh.
The schedule of the matches will be will be posted on the TL calendar week by week. Schedule of the tournament is available in the PR but it is essentially 5 weeks of Tuesdays and Thursdays with the exceptions being Wednesday, Jun 05 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) and Monday, Jun 24 5:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) to work around HSC. The offline finals will be in mid July live from the QLASH House near Treviso, Italy.
Follow our Global Twitter, SC2 dedicated Twitter or join our SC2 Discord Server for constant updates. Hope to see you on our streams!
Live Finals from the QLASH House in Italy on Saturday, Jul 27 1:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00)!

CynicalDeath - legend!
Note that we haven't decided yet on the Bo7 Semis and Bo9 Finals. We might go with something different this time!
Also the total prizepool is 4,000 euros since we have 30*50 online (1,500) and 2,500 for the offlines.

Nice,
has the Reynor-Clem match been postponed?
|
This casting Duo; it is like witnessing the moment when two Templers do their weird merging dance. Ben and Rotti could be the Archon for the foreign scene. Really enjoy their casting! (I think I only saw them casting Homestory cup together, but that was before DeMuslim took a professional approach towards casting)

thanks Rotti + Demu! nice games, nice casting.
|
After completing the online part of the event, we have now the 4 finalists with Reynor, Lambo, PtitDrogo and Harstem all flying in to compete for the QLASH SC2 Invitational 2nd Edition trophy in the QLASH House.
Join us on stream on Saturday, Jul 27 1:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) with Rotti and DeMusliM casting the event!

Forgot to mention, the finals are going to be in a double elimination bracket format. All matches will be Bo5s, the final itself is going to be Bo7. If anyone can update the event liquipedia page we would be more than grateful (as we are noobs)..

Nice! Got something to do now for tomorrow ^^
|
Drogo won against Reynor? Guess I missed something.
|
I can't believe Harstem almost overcame BL/infestor with 3 speed prism HT drops.
|
These PvZs have been pretty sweet. Drogo has been playing good PvZ of late, and hasn't even been cutting a ton of corners in his builds as he sometimes does.
