Get gas, then ebay. Sirius (turrets tank damage, detect, and cause fear) Expand Get second ebay and Medivac Platforms Rattlesnake Vega (or Nux if facing lots of lings/marines) Nux Max out Sirius asap (sometimes even skipping Nux or getting him way later). Nikara for mutations where survival is extremely important Blaze for missions with infested Sam for mutations where there are lots of hybrids Cannonball for mutations that need a fat fat tank (very rare). I also get Nikara and Cannonball whenever my ally leaves in the beginning and I have to control two bases of stuff.

I feel like you can really specialize to do what you want... For example, focus on a small team but very specialized and high tech. Or go for a full five team but more well-rounded play.

At the moment, I'm trying out 2xgas after 14 on minerals CC (Tychus comes out and kills rocks just as the CC finishes, on maps with nearby expansions) Muscle Armory Rattlesnake. The benefit here is you just barely afford to pop Rattlesnake out right after Tychus. This is helpful for carrying early. Fill in your favorite second outlaw here, and link to tech building. Gas->CC early economy to get first two units and nice upgrades on rattlesnake, sirius, nux + whatever subs you feel like. Two quick outlaws. I favor delaying ebay to after rattlesnake, but I'm still messing about with that one. The base units with maybe one upgrade work long enough to delay attack upgrades
