Step 1: make them afraid to try to sweep you when you walk towards them. E.g. walk back and forth and punish whiffs with far fierce. Step 2: walk / dash towards them and throw / tick-throw / try to get a super.

When in doubt, stand strong. Not b+strong, that move sucks. Regular s.strong is pretty freaking good, though. Also a hell of a lot safer to toss out than b+fierce (which is punishable on reaction if you whiff it).

Akuma doesn't have to rely on hit confirms very much, I believe. mmm, idk since gouki doesnt have ex moves I think naturally the importance of cr. lkx2 -> SAI, cr. mk -> SAI, cr. mp -> SAI increases as a damage source. Plus it looks fucking awesome when you do it as GO. ^^

It is an excellent option when you've standing blocked a move and you want to counter with SAII. you already have back pressed, so it's a natural input motion. Tokido does this a lot.

Back strong is what I use in place of back fierce to punish when I feel like I'm gonna fail back fierce xx super (e.g. when I'm facing right).

One more thing about chun li, abuse the kara throw, esp forward/down parry buffer kara throws.

Back+hp is already super strong antiair, but is vulnerable to air-parries. The solution is to hit back+hp+hk, which is technically a PA command but the back input overrides the PA and the back+hp will come out, while the game recognizes the k input. Subsequently, mash the k button so that if the hakkei is parried, her burst kick will come out immediately. It's a bitch to parry all of them.

Her 100 lk kicks start up in 6 frames as opposed to 5 for hk, and it deals slightly less damage. But it deals the same stun and recovers a few frames faster.
