The Dutch StarCraft League is back! This year's edition focuses 100% on the Dutch(-speaking) player base, hence the rename from 'DSCL Open' to 'DSCL Nationals'. Don't worry though: all content and streams will continue to be produced in English for the 'foreign' audience.
The DSCL Nationals will take place on December 1st at the Esports Game Arena in Alphen aan den Rijn (free entrance). Twelve of the best Dutch players will be there to fight for the first DSCL Nationals trophy. uThermal and Harstem will be invited, while the other 10 players will have to earn their spot through the DSCL Nationals ranking.
From September through November 9 tournaments will be awarding DSCL Natioanls ranking points to players. These tournaments include the ThermyCup at The Reality, multiple cups at the Esports Game Arena, online qualifiers and a tournament at the new Dutch LAN 'Tweakers Gaming Live'. There's even a qualifier in Antwerp at Outpost for the Flemish players!
For the prize pool we're relying on community support, and a Matcherino campaign has been launched. Please consider supporting the Dutch / Benelux StarCraft scene by donating and/or purchasing some merch!
All information about the tournament, including the format, qualifiers, the ranking and the prize pool, can be found at DSCL.nl/nationals. Liquipedia page is here.

The tournament is going full steam ahead as 5 out of 9 qualifiers have already been played. There's still four more upcoming though, so anyone can still qualify! Check out the full list on DSCL.nl/nationals, and the current ranking at DSCL.nl/ranking.
We're also ramping up attention for the DSCL Nationals prize pool crowdfunding campaign, which needs some additional love. We're hoping enough people want to support the Dutch StarCraft community such that we can get to a €1000 prize pool. The players deserve nothing less! If you want to support, check out the Matcherino campaign.
We're also hosting a BarCraft for BlizzCon in Alphen aan den Rijn on November 3rd! Entrance is free and fun is guaranteed. All info is at DSCL.nl/barcraft.

The last qualifying tournament has been played! Top-4 of the ranking has now received direct invites to the finals event on December 1st, where they will join Harstem and uThermal.
The numbers 5 through 16 of the ranking will enter the online group stage to determine which of them get the last 6 seeds for the finals. These are the groups:
Good luck to those playing!
More good news: thanks to a VERY generous donor the total prize pool for the DSCL Nationals is now approaching €1000! Around €300 has been donated through direct bank transfer, and around €700 through Matcherino. If you want to support the Dutch scene too, your donation is more than welcome.
