I tend to attempt walls that fail, and during games, I just kind of place my rax/depots somewhere close to the choke and hope it'll work. I never have time to try it out... I probably should

This thread is about good building placement without wall, but the building placement (depot right or top of barracks to hold zealots out) is the same. | ||

He's specifically asking about TvP, so it's hardly relevant. And yeah, the idea is always to have the supply to the top or right of rax. So, if GI's post doesn't cover a map you're playing on, just keep that in mind. | ||

If you force lings to come at you single file, then it's a hellofa lot easier to deal with them. Forcing lings to come in one at a time is a HUGE difference. Especially if you have a firebat in hold position at that opening...(: | ||

That can easily be blocked by putting SCV the closest as possible to the hole between the two depots. You'll have to put marines behind SCV and select ALL UNITS to click on Hold Position. I said select all units because SCVs can't hold position when selected alone. | ||
