Yukito, the player who had that insane comeback vs Clark, switched to Lilica in AHF and AH2 and seems to have gotten much better. Haven't seen him placing at any of the SBO qualifiers, though. Clark still plays pink Yoriko, better than in that vid too, but doesn't strike me as a notable player yet. Hafun and Time Man still use Konoha in AH2, but no sightings of them placing high in the SBO quals, either. (FYI, the SBO site lists the top 3-4 players for each qualifier, and this is what I'm referring to by "placing high".) (AH2 Hafun (Konoha) in a 3on3) (AH2 Time Man vs Aoi) Pincho quit AH2 because it got too competitive and serious compared to AHF. J (Lilica) vs Kurenai no Buta (Kira) - haven't seen either of these players in AH2 yet. Kyamei (Mei-Fang) vs Hayao (Kira) - haven't seen Hayao in AH2 yet, however Kyamei recently qualified for AH2 using Mei-Fang, after at least 2 other failed attempts where he placed high. Danpu (AHF Lieselotte, AH2 Elsa) and Kanta (AHF Lilica, AH2 ?): haven't seen Kanta and his crazy time Lilica in AH2 yet. The time freeze super was completely changed, anyway. =/ Danpu got 2nd at a recent qualifier. Interesting that he switched from Liese to Elsa, the same as Ao did. They both used Pink Liese in AHF, too.

He just played at MWC this past weekend, 2nd place for 3S, AH2, and 3S SBO quals. Maybe I should have played more Catherine over the past month to give him more experience against the spinning robot of doom.

a) knowledeable and know what they are talking about and/or are quick to admit their mistakes when corrected by another guy b) guys who are interested in the topic and the posts/inquiries are sincere and as Bill said, no one who's not interested in the topic looks here b/c sports and games is so obscure anyways, and the topic is buried half the time ^^ Bill I blame YOU for my mix up for fubar and fubarduck!

On a side note, is anybody getting Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD Remix (sorry just like typing it all out for kicks lol) when it comes out in a few/several months? Anybody any good at ST who would be up for noob bashing? Anybody just interested that would enjoy scrub fests?

+ Show Spoiler + nezu (RO), who I just added to my big post, shows off his hilarious The Robot Ky style with much wackiness all around. Nowhere near as solid as Dogura but nezu wins and loses with style.

At least I've seen Faust play so I'm not totally overwhelmed with all the random stuff he throws out and his long-range attacks.

+ Show Spoiler [match vid] + Apparently you can combo into a one-hit-KO attack? Edit: another one: + Show Spoiler [match vid 2] + Edit 2: lol look at this guy "Mr. Heart". He's like a giant Kirby: sucks his opponents towards him! Also, finally a match that doesn't end with one of those "Fatal KO" moves. + Show Spoiler [match vid 3] +

Fatal KO attack can only be done when your opponent's stars have been depleted. Stars are indicated by that gauge that's loosely in the shape of the Big Dipper, seven stars in all; certain moves take off stars, but there's a three-star removal limit per combo. Missed FKO attempt gives back one star. After each round, you get one star back. If you get hit by an FKO and there's still another round (happens mostly in 3/5 round format) then you get ALL of your stars back. FKOs are indeed comboable, though. So HnK attempts to "improve" on Guilty Gear's combo limiting gravity system to adjust for all the (then) new systems they were implementing... problem was, getting heavier and heavier just makes those OTG combos easier... AND like all the other limiters in HnK, you can go so far past a certain limit that it breaks and goes completely awry. In the case of gravity, after a certain amount of bouncing hits (usually the combo count is around 30-40 or so?), some modifier goes negative or something. Like, each hit makes them bounce HIGHER than before, leading to the ridiculous basketball dribble -> moon bounce combos that HnK is famous for. A bit less famous but fairly well known to people who follow the game is a similar glitch with wallbounces, reason is probably different but in effect you send people flying across the entire stage for HILARIOUS looking combos (whereas moon bounces look kinda funny but mostly retarded). The Heart player in that vid messes up his infinite that involves that particular glitch... well really he messed up his FKO combo off the infinite that he was getting started.

FAB (PO), Nakamura (MI), Shoot (AX) win their area qualifier over Ogawa's team to qualify for SBO! Time's running out as the few remaining arcade qualifiers for the last few area spots are filling up... Kami-chan (SL), Yossan (IN), Karun (JA) win an arcade qualifier, putting them in contention for a spot yet again. Karun ain't a bad Jam but I don't know much else about him. Yossan is a long-time I-No player who, like Ten, has been "the other I-No" for a while since KO1 was pretty much the definitive I-No in Slash, and nobody cared about I-No players in #R ;( Coming off their loss to FAB's team, Ogawa (ED), Mike (JA) and Imo (ZA) win an arcade qualifier so they'll be looking to qualify. It'd be a shame if these guys don't make it, they've each been to SBO for as long as I can remember.

oh wait, tasteless plays Marvel <3 I'm just terrible at 3s and there's practically no scene for GG here in the philippines.. ah well, So just to throw this out, why are there hardly any Denjin-Ryu players in japan? Are they just more content with sure damage from SA 1/2 + ex's rather than Denjin?
