INnoVation took a 1-0 lead, due in part to his proxy two rax reaper, but Maru evened the series when his own proxy killed INnoVation outright. Game three was all INnoVation. Maru failed to hit a timing with his faster stim, falling behind steadily from there until he eventually conceded.
Dear went up 1-0 with sturdy Blink/colossi play, but fell to a ling/hydra counter after oracles netted him 24 drone kills. ByuL thwarted Dear's adept push with roaches, but threw the final game with an ill fated counterattack. Dear added a few warp ins and finished ByuL off.
herO took game one with an adept/prism attack, but dropped the next two in an extraordinary sloppy series. aLive's multipronged aggression pulled herO apart in game two, while his flawless defense of herO's oracles gave him a lead he never relinquished in the third.
Solar jumped into the lead with a proxy hatch, but it was Classic's triple stargate builds that defined the series. After butchering workers in game two, mass oracles killed a lair, spawning pool, hydralisk den and two armies on Overgrowth en route to a 2-1 victory.
Dark labored to win a 37 minute game one that culminated with Stats' final pylon falling while his last immortal watched under an infestor's control, but lost the next two against an early dark templar build and finally an adept attack for which he failed to prepare.
