Together with Bran, who will mind control the dragons and play various time travelling and magic tricks, they will defeat the White Walkers, Lannisters and Tyrells and gain the Iron Throne. Sansa will only be the king's sister and perhaps warden of the North. arent jon and danny related? rhaegar being her uncle, and jon being rhaegar's son. So far ive gotten the vibe that incest is bad in the GoT universe like a cursed thing. If one more of the starks have to die, i'd rather it be sansa, her stupid decisions from the start and now imo i think that she is pretty full of herself in her ability to manipulate people not knowing that littlefinger is probably like 3 steps ahead.

Incest was commonplace for Targaryeans I believe...And if your sister is Dany, you can make exceptions.

Also Jon doesn't even really consider himself to be a stark even though he grew up his whole life thinking Ned was his father. So I don't really see him saying to himself I am a Targaryean and therefore wouldn't marry Dany. I also dont think jon vs sansa will happen. After they retook winterfell jon told her that they have too many enemies now and can't fight among themselves. Sansa also said that only a fool would trust littlefinger. Obviously littlefinger is very sly and cunning so if he gets a wiff of that distrust from sansa he could use it against her.

I am also puzzled why you insist that by definition a halberd is a simpler, cheaper version for something else, used by infantrymen. I am also sure that there are weapons equally sophisticated as sword that we do not call 'poleaxes' or even 'polearns'. Spelling isn't really a relevant concept in our time period. All this stuff was spelled lots of ways. That's the common definition as used today, based on contemporary usage, but smoothed out, as most HEMA terms are. Can provide sources if you require. The basic idea is that a poleaxe/poll-ax/polax is fundamentally a 2h ax used in armored combat by a single warrior, where halberds are have similar heads, but are fundamentally formation-fighting weapons used by blocks of infantry. Halberds tend to be longer and less finely made. A key difference is whether the head is one metal piece or several machined together. All that said, there are lots of weapons of various kinds of sophistication. Swords are almost always highly complex, carefully engineered weapons. Maces and warhammers are fine weapons, and some would be as expensive and nicely made as a good sword, though inherently they're hardly the same feat of smithing. A poleaxe is a pretty complicated weapon, challenging to make well in its own way. But the challenge in smithing a good sword probably had something to do with their place as the "prestige weapon" in societies around the world. Well, that and the convenience of carrying it around and dueling anybody who looked at you funny.

Almost as silly as Jon, the guy who singlehandedly (almost) lost the battle, who is a bastard and a deserter to the night's watch, being king of the north instead of Sansa, the lady of winterfell who effectively won the battle with the Eerie army or arguably Sweet Robin, the sickly kid who owns that army and is the nominal head of the most important house in the Eerie. Which means it may just happen.

Technically he did desert the watch, but given the circumstances I don't think it will be held against him? With Arya potentially making her way back home, I think the happiness of them all being back together for the first time since the death of their parents will overcome that nonsense. Uncle Benjen also brought Bran to the wall at the end of s6, so I imagine he will also be making his way to Winterfell this season. Setting it up for a nice family reunion before the great war.

Sure, Jon fought in the battle, but that's about it. As for his desertion being justified, I dunno about that. Northern lord: "What justifies you deserting the night's watch?" Jon: "Well, I died and came back from the dead" Northern lord: "Well ok then, carry on" Anyway, his gathering of allies was mostly on Davos, not on his own charisma. The only really justifiable loyalty Jon has is that of the wildlings, which should be even more reason for northern houses to be wary of him.

While obviously they all want the infighting to stop and unify against the White Walkers that seems like the kind of stunt which Jon/Sansa would take serious issue to.

Umber knew Rickon was the real deal because he gave him over to Ramsay as the real thing. That means that Umber knew that Rickon was the legitimate last true heir to the north (nobody knew where the fuck Bran was) and therefore his lord. Sending Rickon to Ramsay was a betrayal against House Stark. While obviously they all want the infighting to stop and unify against the White Walkers that seems like the kind of stunt which Jon/Sansa would take serious issue to. The umber guy who gave away rickon is dead already, I think. Or, rather, that's what a cursory glance at the wiki tells me .

His watch has ended, he clearly declared that and the wows are clearly worded for this exact thing to work, I don't think there will be any confusion about it. You tell that to the northern lords who have never seen someone rise from the dead. They have no reason to believe it, and as likely as not to believe everyone is delusional (or that Jon was actually in some sort of coma). This isn't D&D land where people just get rezzed.

On a different but paralell point, in a religious world someone coming back from the dead might be seen as a ... messianic act, but instead he comes back and "ok, back to work", eveyone carries on as before.
