Also... i'm more excited for the nba awards show than watching these conference finals, lol. Very real chance both gsw and cavs are 12-0 heading into the finals.

100% verified, undeniable, proof that Iran > USA + Show Spoiler +
If Boston loses the next game look for Olynyk to put an unsuspecting Cavalier player in the Camel Clutch.
Towns is 1 of the worst Centers on defense in the league. he's somewhere between very good and above average on offense though. i think his omission from any all-NBA team is well deserved.
thing is this is not the 2024 All-NBA team. i think he got what he deserved. a small degree of consideration with a few votes.

i provided the range between above average and very good because i only watched about 20 full Minnesota games this year. there is more to offense than boxscore stats. . I'd need to watch him more often to narrow that range.
don't get into speculation about what i care about. you don't know. leave it at that. first get your basic facts straight. then move into the area of speculation about the NBA. not me.

incorrect, he turned 21 six months ago.

and Towns contributed to them being bad.
Rubio and Towns are somewhere between above average to very good on offense. Wiggins and Lavine are above average. They play a bazillion minutes a game and can't win at a 40% clip. bad defense is just bad.
i never realized what a good dribbler Rubio was until i saw it with my own eyes. Rubio is the best player on the team. He is the lone decent defender amongst the 4 i mentioned.
it wouldn't make that big a deal if he were 29. However, on average, big improvements are expected as a player moves from 20 years 6 months to 21 years 6 months.
so the year matters. just look at how antetokounmpo improved in 1 year relative to other players his age. antetokounmpo made it to the 2nd All-NBA team.
