Has anyone else noticed not being able to CC stuff? They changed the demon hunter CC to be able to target humanoids and beasts as well as demons but i have not been able to use it as much as i expected.
Some mobs are labeled human/demon/beast and will allow me to cast the CC but instantly break it themselves and say "immune". Lots of stuff like the healers in Maw do that; you can interrupt, stun, knockback, knockdown, silence etcetc but you can't sheep or cage them because it will allow the cast and then break it with an "Immune" message.
Many other trash mobs are vulnerable to some forms of CC+interrupting but not others in what seems to be a fairly complicated and unexplained system that takes a lot of trial and error to learn

It's the same with sheep/frog/etc, it lets you finish the cast and incurs cd even if the mobs are immune.

Very curious what the new affixes do. I hope they changed Bursting a little because that shit looked ridiculous when they showed it at Blizzcon.
Basically every trash dying puts a debuff comparable to Mythic Ilgynoth's blob death on people fro 20% of health. And it seemingly was stacking too. Imagine dealing with that against big aoe packs of small health mobs, or against things like the Imps at CoS lol

Item - Demon Hunter T20 Havoc 2P Bonus (New) Blade Dance refunds 40 Fury when it hits an enemy. Item - Demon Hunter T20 Havoc 4P Bonus (New) Blade Dance's critical Strike chance is increased by 50%. Item - Demon Hunter T20 Vengeance 2P Bonus (New) Enemies burning from your Sigil of Flame deal 5% reduced damage to you. Item - Demon Hunter T20 Vengeance 4P Bonus (New) After creating a Sigil of Flame, you gain 0 Versatility for 8 sec.
Weeeeell.. I hope those are changed soon. Not a fan of the gameplay changes and they'll inevitably invalidate multiple talent rows with new "best all of the time" options

Item - Monk T20 Mistweaver 2P Bonus (New) Your healing spell casts have a 10% chance to grant Surge of Mists, reducing the cost of your next Enveloping Mist by 75%. Item - Monk T20 Mistweaver 4P Bonus (New) Consuming Surge of Mists resets the cooldown of Thunder Focus Tea. Not sure how strong this is in numbers (should be quite strong though) but gameplay-wise it is just fantastic. Right now you can play many raid encounters completely without Enveloping Mist. I guess you can criticize that they make it viable and enable more spell diversity with a crutch, but at least it is happening.

Literally 50% crit on one spell every 22sec. That has to be atleast 0.05% dps

It's only after FoF, which has 22sec CD Baseline RSK has 6sec CD with T19 2 part, 9 without it So it's 1 RSK every 3 or 4 depending.
It's really bad, believe me :p

Disc T20 is extremely boring, as if I wasn't already casting PW:S and Penance on cooldown. I also doubt it's anywhere near as powerful as T19 4pc.

I got the Vengeance hidden appearance after doing the daily event over 100 times (120?)

Killing any demon in the quest area locks you out of loot for the day but i think only a fraction of them even drop the appearance at all with ~4 of them (out of ~25?) having a good droprate. There are around 1100 kills per demon recorded on wowhead with the drops per demon being 18, 16, 14, 12, 7, 4, 4, 3, 3, 3 and then a huge string of 0's.
If that's at all accurate then you could speed up the farm by spawning a demon, resetting it and then spawning a new one until you get one of the right ones. I did that for a while out of my 120 days but the event takes a while to reset so i was spending like 25 minutes a day to get one of the demons that i wanted (Kur'zok, Rok'duun, Dro'zek or Erdu'un) which was going to be very boring to farm for a droprate of 1.6% anyway

Token seems pretty stable at ~165k EU and ~89k US
We got some more info about the affix changes as well. Tyrannical and Fortified are buffing enemy damage a little less than they used to which is addressing the enemy damage scaling out of control when playing appropriate but challenging mythic+ levels (Player HP scales a lot slower than Player DMG)
Skittish is going to reduce threat by 75% instead of by 80% so tanks effectively have 1.25x more threat gen than pre-nerf
Bolstering buffing stuff within 30 yards instead of 45
Necrotic will last 8 seconds instead of 10 so 1.25x shorter duration and will be removed when you leave combat which will speed up runs and lead to some interesting shenanigans like shadowmelding between enemy melee swings to reset stacks

Finally got my DH to 110 tanking. Tanked like 4 or 5 M+ 4-6 and went from 804 to 840 ilevel.
I don't feel too bad so far and not much is seemingly going to ace me (yet). I did not read any talent guides but am running fracture/soul barrier type build. Not too shabby but I still have a lot more to do to get better at tanking with my dh (My monk is still my favorite tank)
Hopefully will keep practicing so I can do better since so far I will either be pain capped or just be completely out of pain.
