Tactical fouls only reward teams that dont want to play football so no they are not an important part of the game

I think all of these changes make football more controlled and less organic. Will that also make it more fair? Probably. But I also think I will enjoy it less; the chaos is part of the entertainment.
That said I think the actual game time + sin bin + only captain speaks to referee are fair changes that deal with real problems. The fact that especially in knockout tournaments, whichever team is in the lead ends up spending wayyyy more time being injured than the team which is behind tells me that actual game time is an important change in many ways. And while I'm not thrilled about the sin bin concept, the yellow+red card system is incredibly flawed. It also contributes to the randomness factor that I like, but more often in a negative way than say, hitting the post does. The way I see it, in football, punishments should benefit the party that was hurt as much as it should punish the offender- yellow cards often just hurt the team/player at some later point - and sometimes a team can actually be hurt by a team getting a yellow card against them. Doesn't really come up much, but the potential for that happening is kinda dumb.
Offsides, I think overall they have become incredibly good at calling those and it's not a big issue, I also think removing it is absolutely extreme - it's such an ingrained part of tactics and how to play etc.
4 quarters is an even bigger fuck no than the penalty suggestion.

Holy hell that second header from Llorente was beautiful. Then Firminho 2 minutes later with a good header as well
2-1 Seansea atm
OMG nearly 3-1! 2-2 need stronger defending then from right back

Liverpool were putting a bit too many bodies forward. A bit unlucky there too.

rofl. First half such a snooze-fest, now 5 goals in 30 minutes. And I'm still expecting a couple moer to be honest.

Honestly Swansea have so much quality. Bradley really was incompetent. A lot of the goals weren't just Liverpool poor defending, but some really great play from Swansea too.

disastrous result for Liverpool. But this is their flaw. They have three losses so far - vs Burnley, Bournemouth and Swansea. Chelsea's three losses however are vs Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal - currently #2, #3 and #4. Liverpool is crazy entertaining and their top level is great, but they gotta learn to approach every match with the same intensity.

what are you talking about.. hes playing right back :S. Do you even watch ? Just because he found himself in that position doesnt mean hes playing CAM. Footballers run around you know ?

He wasnt even looking where his foot landed his face was literally in the opposite direction.. following the ball. Jesus man.. this is special stuff even for you.. especially with the benefit of replay. Very impressive dunce power.
Theres a reason it wasnt carded.
The only thing Mariner has missed so far was a bump from Walker on Clichy and then Clichy bundling into walker on the flip side a few minutes later. Other than that hes called the game perfectly. And even calling out those 2 instances is nitpicky at best. Hes had an excellent game.
On a more sane note from someone who is watching. These chances being missed is going to sting. Spurs have great movement on the front three and they have had 0 impact in the game but it only takes one break and they played themselves into the game slightly.. Feels like City needed to cash in on atleast one of the goals.
The press will drop in effectiveness too as players get tired. Anyones game City better so far.

The press will drop in effectiveness too as players get tired. Do you even watch the game? I mean seriously haha. Pep is playing 2 at the back when they have possesion. Oatemendi and Kolarov should be sitting and the width comes from Clichy and Sterling/Zabaleta yet Zabaleta is always in the middle of the pitch and getting onto the end of passes that a midfielder should be but because of the lets 2 at the back and play high game is how it works. This is what is wrong with Pep's systems if you watch the games you would understand this. Like have you even seen Zabaleta cross the ball yet, no cuz he hasn't been out on the right crossing he has been running into the middle due to how he is set up to play. When it wasn't Zabaleta in that position it was Sagna or whoever else he has played there.
Bravo is sweeper. Oatemdni and Kolarov split. He pushes his wing backs high and forward and inside at times and gets width from Sterling/Sane. Then overloads the midfield. If he plays in his right back position he wont get into this positions but he does because Pep teams have free roles. Then he wonders why his team gets picked off for fun on counters when they only have 2 centre backs and a suicidal keeper.
Sane tackle was a joke too he knew exactly what he was doing he was SO LATE and was a huge swing stamp down onto his foot. Can't find gif or i'd post it but it was disgusting i wouldn't have minded a red for that. Again if that was Costa you would been calling for him to be expelled from football.
Poch agrees with my assessment i made as well that Spurs have nothing on the counter in terms of pace with current set up so they have bought on Son to give them the pace. Surprisingly that is how they won the game at White Heart Lane. Way to beat Pep is with fast counters to abuse the amount of players he chucks forward and lack of good defenders at the back

Lloris - top class decision making and heading.
