Jill has no real education or experience outside of Totokaelo and Googling things. ... She has repeatedly retaliated against employees when they resign or upset her by not paying them. She has repeatedly doctored her books for tax savings and written off inventory that she owns to deflate the value at tax time. She is known across the market to promise payment and "prove it was sent" with photo shopped wire transfer for funds that were never sent. She will do anything to avoid paying a bill including fraudulent activity or violating Dept. of Labor laws. ... She uses language that is not appropriate in a diverse workplace and regularly violates federal employment policies in place for protected classes of people. The number of emails that have been written about not hiring any more women at Totokaelo across the organization is alarming for a brand with its public values. ... -CEO places black and white blanket statements of importance and judgement on the intellect level of all employees based on immature characteristics like how they look, what they wear, their personal backgrounds and relationships, how fast they talk and how quick they do their work even if it is the lowest quality of output possible. ... If you are seen wearing any brand the store doesn’t carry, whether luxury or fast fashion, you are openly berated, sneered at and made fun of. So even though Totokaelo says its mission is to empower people to dress the way they want, there is actually just one right way of dressing. Employees have had to lie that their clothes are “vintage” to avoid being called out. Even with the employee discount, TK brands are out of reach for most people. The in-house private label costs much less to produce and would be an affordable way for employees to dress in an approved way, but the discount remains the same. ... She has no experience, literally the most unintelligent person I have ever met "I have done all of your jobs" - except she can't use excel...so how could you do my job?!

can't believe the amount of idiots that got their supposed right size and crying about how it doesn't fit though it's supposed to fit profile (the liner), so if your shell is tight on you (which fits straight) then the same size in the j58 probably wouldn't fit.. thought this was obvious?

Either start embodying what you are putting down on paper or on a white board or sell the company to someone more qualified. Take the time to care about people, this industry is too small especially in New York where even competitors are often collaborators in providing introductions and opportunities for growth, when the favors are reciprocated. Hire CFO's, COO's and Human Resources so that in house talent can actually be free to do their basic job functions and come to work feeling ownership over their contributions to the company. Seek serious professional and mental health support. The most successful, smart and powerful people in any industry are often the most humble and genuine who have a real reason or resume to actually mentor and inspire. No one respects you, no one likes you, no one is inspired or motivated by you. You should not be leading human beings. https://www.glassdoor.com/Salary/Totokaelo-Salaries-E690802.htm those wages tho ouch

Like someone could buy white shoes and do a splatter paintjob or even knit their own sweater. Or maybe it's an art & design thing? I guess there are those that pay for the name, and those that just go for aesthetics. As for the former, was in Harrods a while back and saw some LV bags with a shoddy paint job (as in high school level of paint, design and meaining) in acrylic going for double the price of a plain bag.
