Nicely written and I love'd the small Behind the Scenes of my favorite DotA Team Good Luck in any future endevours you might persue and I hope you are finding fulfillment in what you will be doing ! I am going to miss your casts and surely won't be the only one but you shouldn't feel at all forced to do something that doesn't speak to you. Really looking forward to see you progress into whatever you feel most suited for you. PS: That last sentence of your blog was pretty legit

I don't care how nice a guy he is, I actually like him quite a bit, but Maut should not have taken your spot on the final day. I don't blame him at all, Valve fucked up big time. LD's influence/status with BTS ultimately won out with him and Tobi basically getting the final 2 series every TI after TI1, so we were stuck with the worst duo instead of arguably the best one (you and Cap). Maut gets to cast the final day in his very first TI? As the worst of the hype casters (Tobi/OD/Cap) while paired with LD, the worst of the "analysts" (Blitz/Draskyl/Merlini)? What a fucking joke. Did they shit in your gift bag too? And no, their hype casting of the DC-EG Game 3 didn't make up for it, that game made the cast, and any of the other caster duos would have done a better job from start to incredible finish.

Made an account just to throw this note in. I'm also rather introverted, at times shy, and find it hard to connect meaningfully with new people as much as I might want to. But for me, meeting you for a few seconds and getting a picture together was really a highlight of my TI6 experience. I wish I could have said more at the time. I'm a big fan. I really like the insight and humor you bring to the table. (At first, I thought -- Why is Blitz always with this Capitalist guy now?? But I've grown to like him too.) I've just been really glad to see someone I relate to during DOTA events, casting and at the desk, doing their thing -- and being recognized for it. Your growth has been amazing, and I feel that your presence has pushed the scene to improve. I'll really miss your casts, and wish that you will stay in the scene, in some way. Thank you for everything. Hope you can follow your passion!

Blitz's approach to mold Cap into a serviceable partner for casting Grand Finals is hilarious. I wonder what Capitalist has to say to it, tho.

thanks for the thoughts and it seems understandable. Casting/coaching is work after all and while you can enjoy it, working a lot will make you tired regardless. I just wanted to chime in and say that it was a blast meeting you at Dotapit. I know it was a small tournament and you probably hardly even remember the thing, but it was really nice meeting you. It surprised me how tall you are! But yes, I could notice you were a bit nervous from the shake (my advice would be to grab the hand with a firm grip, if you want to come off as more confident). I really appreciate you taking the time, and I always had a lot of respect for you. I hope you find yourself in the coming monts and good luck towards 8k. I hope one day, I'd be able to interact with you in a game as well.
