And another thing - don't know about PS4/PC - the matchmaking on Xone often takes some time to find players.
Edit: In case someone wants to team up on XOne sometime PN me

Leveling is easy enough and money is useless; you use the same materials as levels go up (except greens you have to convert to blues and blues you eventually convert to yellows, but yellow materials are insanely rare and the blue > yellow conversion is the main source of 'em)

Single player - fun ? rewarding enough ? or i must play in a group. GFX - i have a good computer with a mediocre/bad GFX card (5870) , do you think it will run OK ? i am holding up on the upgrade until the new dx12 cards come out in few months but i really want to give the game a go...

I trying to find the Nvidia equivalent to the 5870 but if it is less than the 770 then you will struggle like i did above medium/high if you are multi monitoring or don't have an overpowering CPU to help at least. I run an i5 2500k sandy bridge.

^ I definitely wouldn't have made the purchase for single-player only. There isn't any real story going on, it's probably borderline impossible to solo some of the harder challenge missions and it's a good idea to have a buddy in dark zone too. And while leveling many of the side quests get repetitive and become a chore where having a buddy with you makes it more fun and allows you to get through them quicker too. Plus the game just plays better with a group, like you can have one guy drawing the fire and making space for team to get things done, you can get ressed if you die and so on. Now I have not played missions solo but I'm not sure how you're meant to get things like sniping done with 5 NPC's spraying bullets at your face.

B) a 5870 might be a little too old, but if you lock it to 30fps and medium/low i can see it working for you quite decent. C) the game its pretty fun overall, i like the loot system and theres a deep and interesting rpg system beneath all too It does has some flaws, but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts

i wouldnt craft anything until u get to lvl 30. any gear shortcomings u can make up for by just buying from vendors. first item i crafted was a purple LVOA-C, then i focused all my material on crafting high ends like the vector and extended mag

It'd get stale pretty fast if you play solo all the time, I think. Seems easy to find groups / new friends in this game though. None of my friends bought this game but I found some pretty chill people to group with while leveling / doing missions and stuff.

I had such high hopes for this game but as it is, 20$ would have been a waste of money, not to mention this being sold for a scathing ~60$ or so.

Holy crap this game's boring. Endless repetition (missions, scenery, enemies...) with the only reward being a small change in numbers affecting other numbers, boiling down to minor decrease in the time needed to hover your crosshair over the overtly generic Dindu Nuffinses posing as enemies. Like any other MMO regardless of taste. Diablo, WoW, etc. Except the enemies actually do act smarter than in your usual MMO.

You should know what you buy before you buy it , same as Diablo games , there is a big following that likes min/max + grinding .... (me for example) , this is not a CoD game. Can you give an example of a game that does it better ?

The first time i got flanked by a pumpgunner in challenge mode, i was rather impressed. The AI is certainly abusable (if you stand in a certain position, chances are they don't react if you shoot), but acting like that's somehow dumber than just running straight path towards you (like any other MMO) is just dishonest. edit: Sidenote, anyone else having trouble finding bosses in DZ06? The Landmarks seem to be bugged 90% of the time.
