Protoss players, how do you win?

I started playing BW on Iccup again this past week and I thought I got into a rather good start. In just a few days, I had 12 games and only 3 losses. It felt good. I am by no means a decent or a confident player but in the games I played I felt I had initiative, and my mechanics weren't failing me too much; I was playing to win. Maybe it was because I thought I wanted to be a bit more competitive coming into this season. Prior to this, I barely had 20-30 games spread throughout the whole season, so 12 games in a few days is kind of an improvement... yeah.
No way you're going to beat me newb
It was going well until I sparred with an acquaintance. I got crushed hard for 4 straight games. It hit my psyche hard. In the following games, I became afraid of every BO and forgetfulness plagued me (even losing to d- because I totally forgot to macro.) I ended up extending my losing streak to 8 (?) Sometimes I just didn't have a solution to what I know was coming (dark swarms, lurkers, tank pushes.) What a mess.
I eventually got off two wins against some guys who I know weren't better than I am. It didn't make me feel better but it did give my the idea to try out some cheese. Nasty stuff. Anyway it didn't exactly work so I wandered off to seek answers from our lord, Kim Taek Yong. The guy usually had the answers as proven by his immortal feats in progaming. He makes PvZ look freaking easy and multitask as if he had an extra pair of hands. I started his stream (my first look in a few weeks or maybe a month) and lo and behold:
Is this the answer to my problems great Bisu, God of all things Beautiful and Protossy?
To conclude this mess of a blog, I finally feel the competitive fire I felt when I played DotA years ago and having said that, I have a really long road and hopefully I have the time to actually play in the coming months.
