Hey guys, this is AskJoshy. A long time ago, I was a commentator for StarCraft II and I'd go to all of these events and interview players, managers, whomever I could get my hands on. That lead to me getting a job at IPL and so on and so forth, but now I'm back at it. Here is the playlist with all 5 interviews: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQtDinkEUDE9yzh0rpeidG_5WouKVAqA_
Here are the individual links and a little of what we discuss: Julian Collins (Cloud9 Maelstrom Manager):
We discussed Cloud9 Maelstrom as a team, the state of the NA competitive scene, and things to keep in mind when trying to form and manage a pro team.
Zoia (Tempo Storm Manager and Coach):
We talk about Tempo Storm as a team, lessons learned from managing and coaching, and a little about the team house.
DunkTrain (Cloud9 Maelstrom Player):
We talk about C9's practice habits, playing on LAN, and he gives some great advice for player mentality and how to go pro.
Kaeyoh (Tempo Storm Player):
Kaeyoh has some advice for what to do if you're good at the game and want to meet others who want to compete. We talk about Tempo Storm's practices and the team house as well.
Jesse Cox (Stellar Lotus Owner and BlizzCon Champion):
Jesse tells us his reasons for investing in a pro Heroes team, we talk a bit about Mayhem Begins and his upcoming CoxCon 2015 as well.
I'm hitting YouTube and Twitch hard in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for more.
I watched the interviews and I wanted to comment but forgot xD
Really really nice interviews, good stuff.
Some highlights for me were: When you interview the players you ask about how it'slike to be in a pro team, and what advice would they give to players aspiring to get better, I found that question very cool and informative.
This phrase of DunkTrain was pretty good: "6 months from now you won't care if you wont or lost that quickmatch game, you're going to care about how much better you are now than you were 6 months ago"
Also they Jesse Cox interview was pretty cool, and learning more about his reasons for playing Heroes of the Storm. Altough Stellar Lotus isn't doing that well I really wish them the best, I like those guys.
