I'm sorry for my abysmal play this game.
I was abrasive and stubborn, I didn't communicate properly or in a manner that is enjoyable. I got in the way of people's enjoyment of the game, which is worse than any gameplay decision. And for that, I apologize.
Honestly, I'm kind of glad that I was shot. It was better for the thread that I wasn't there, given how obnoxious I was being.
I feel pretty terrible about this, and I'll do my best to make sure that my play is more reasonable going forward, so that people actually want to play with me.

I still don't think you played badly at all trfel. Quite the opposite indeed. Sure, you were wrong on things but that can happen a lot and changes from experience. Just gotta be more open minded to start with.
Btw that bm case was so amazing btw no idea how the whole game didn't just sheep it.

Not sure what trfel is talking about.
Yeah bms case was really good.

It's okay that scum wins somtimes in newbie games; that doesn't mean you should quit or anything, sometimes games just go that way. And that's okay! getting lynched or shot or losing is a normal thing, and this just happens. Don't let it get you down! If you are ever feeling down about mafia you can always come to me for advice, my pm inbox is always open:

Please, PLEASE in the future refrain from PMing game-relevant info to people outside the game. If you absolutely MUST talk to someone outside the game about the game, please don't choose people on the replacement list, this is like literally the worst group of people to PM because they could replace in. I hope your recovery from illness is going well!
TheBloodyDwarf, next time please make sure your schedule can accommodate a game of mafia before signing up. I'm letting you off with a warning this time.
OK I understand, and will refrain from it in the future. I just thought PMing both prplhz and holyflare might speed up the replacement process (somehow), since we were nearing EoD1. I haven't been ill at this winter, kinda surprising to myself. But the recent thinking stress from this game, plus nights of late sleeps and weather change to spring gave me the rest. For clarification though this is what I pmed them:
"Hi, I've cancelled my further participation due to illness to blazinghand. One of you 2 will probably replace me. I thought I should just inform you so you might be prepared.
best regards, plotspot"
Maybe prplhz had an inkling that I might be scum from that, don't know how, which got reinforced by him being replaced into town.
About the game, it was very interesting to see how holyflare played. Up to this point I thought for townish looks you have to do the tedious effort of making a few deathball post casing everyone in the village. But HF didn't quote much, only picked out certain points to focus on. Maybe this is the only way to play 3 games simultaneously? I can only think that this can only be done with much experience, like with everything, to eventually find to shortcuts, hardearned shortcuts.^^

Plotspot, just for future reference, especially in case if you find yourself replacing into games -
It is the replacements' responsibility to catch up on the thread (regardless of alignment) and gather any information on the thread and come to their own conclusions. You can leave a legacy post or a list post in thread I believe before you declare needing replaced privately, but you cannot PM people in game or out of game.
If you are scum or a mason and needing to replace out, that also includes no longer posting in the respective QT.
If you should ever replace in, don't expect any briefings from other people. Likewise, you have no responsibility once you declare a replacement.
Hopefully some of the newbies will stick around for Student IX. We need two of you for the game to start <3

It's totally fine, you didn't know, you were trying to help, and it didn't really change game outcome, just don't do it in the future
