TeamLiquid: Final Edits
Welcome to Week 4! Quite a few games this week, and unfortunately, around the 21st game, they all start to blend together. With the amazing games from the end of the week, the games from the first 4 days had a really hard time standing out. That said, we had some absolutely amazing games played this week. The theme seems to be micro, execution, and timing this week, with some absolutely brilliant strategies and plays pulled off by all three races.
When Jaedong plays, there tends to be many more memorable games. :D

Game 4 - Loser's Match
(Z)Jy < Troy > (T)Casy
TLPD Vod
You've probably heard of this game by now.
+ Show Spoiler +
Substandard play by the Zerg mars what could theoretically have turned into one of the strongest contenders for game of the year. Still a game to watch, especially since people will probably mention it for the remainder of the year and you will want to know what they are talking about. Right? Right.

Game 3
(Z)Jaedong < Loki II > (T)Flash
TLPD Vod
This could very well turn into the Yellow-Boxer, Nal_ra-Savior dynasty building wars so many people are hyping. At the very least, we can hope to see more games between these two of this caliber.
+ Show Spoiler +
This is an absolutely amazing comeback, with near perfect execution by both players. This game seriously should have been over inside 15 minutes, and I'm still shaking my head trying to figure out exactly what happened. Each player values every single unit.
Game 4
(Z)Jaedong < Zodiac > (T)Flash
TLPD Vod
Its been a long time since I've spent almost an entire game shaking my head in disbelief.
+ Show Spoiler +
The commentators spent the entire last half-minute of the game referencing Ma Jae Yoon. And with good reason. Wow. And it's games like this that turn hopeful Terrans into bleary-eyed commentators.

(Z)Luxury < fantasy II > (T)FrOzean
TLPD Vod
Is it a Pimpest Play candidate? I think so.
+ Show Spoiler +
We've been spoiled this year with exceptional muta-play from Jaedong. But this game is something else. We've all seen that muta-only tvz replay floating around. The non-stop, who-cares-how-many-marines-you-have, mutalisk harass, switching out damaged mutas just to look immortal and demoralize your opponent play. Well you know what? This is more impressive.

Game 1
(T)FrOzean < Un'Goro Crater > (Z)Jaedong
TLPD Vod
The second time a game involving Frozean makes the list, and the third involving JaeDong. As game 1, this game carried with it the most nervous expectations of Samsung fans and started a trend that continued for the rest of the night. Is Frozean manly enough to get away with a tag like 'cuteangel'? Does anyone else find it kind of creepy that Samsung has a 'cuteBoy' as well?
+ Show Spoiler +
A Perfect timing play.
Game 2
(P)JangBi < Nemesis > (T)fOrGG
TLPD Vod
Ok, so apparently JangBi is suddenly good at PvT now? He comes into this match with a 6 game terran win streak against both A and B level terrans. forGG on the other hand started 2007 with some strong and surprising play, but has seemed to be, well, less surprising lately. He is, however, no slump in PvT, walking into this with a 65% plus record. The beauty of many of the plays in this game are far greater than the name value of the players. Sort of like a less powerful version of IntoTheRainBow vs iloveOov. And you know what that means...
+ Show Spoiler +
Legionnaire-esque reaver vs some very angry tanks. Does forGG even stand a chance under attack from this magician's toy?

Game 1
(Z)Savior < Blue Storm > (T)Flash
Show GOM some love!
Savior. Flash. By now, everyone should know exactly why a match between these two players deserves a bit of hype - thats probably why the english cast has nearly 8000 views as I write this. I am glad to report that savior appears to show far less of his slumping self this game, making for a very interesting game.
+ Show Spoiler +
Ever seen this kind of Eraser before? Now you have.
Game 6
(T)Flash < Loki II > (T)Mind
Show GOM some love!
Flash, hands down, has the most entertaining TvT of any progamer right now. If you ever play a game of russian-roulette that somehow links to the entertainment of a given TvT, it should become a reflex to shout out Lee Young Ho very, very quickly. Strange and impossible scenarios aside, Flash has spent the last month perfecting incredibly strong micro and reactionary play backed up by a hell of a lot of very fast expansions. Mind is no slouch either walking in with a 11-4 record in his last 15 TvTs.
+ Show Spoiler +
Flash, I think I love you. You make TvT watchable.
Almost:
Game 1 (Z)Jy < Katrina > (P)free[gm]
Game 1 (T)Hwasin < Loki II > (Z)Thezerg
Game 5 - Tiebreak Match (T)Hwasin < Blue Storm > (Z)Thezerg
Lots of games to watch this week, and hopefully even more next week! I've added the stars based on some of the comments, but I'm not sure if this will be regular or not, depending on how much people want it. Some amazing games this week; there were two five star games for a reason. Happy Watching!
