Tetris Yoshi Island Blindfold bonus Tasbot There are a lot of ones I recommend to watch as well if you have the time: Tropical Freeze (Amazing kick off game to the marathon) Star Wars: Dark Forces 2 (Commentary made this run amazing) Battleblock Theater (Amazing in every way, just watch it!) Escape goat 2 (Deathless + WR) I wanna be the boshy (100% absolutely awesome run) Super Mario Bros.: Lost Levels (Very entertaining) Kaizo Mario World (Super Mario World for masochists) Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (This is more niche but I love the FE series and Gwimpage had a very strong run) Mega Man (3 way race that was won by literally pixels) Castlevania: SotN (4 way race that was very good) LoZ: Link to the past (Another boss run of this game at GDQ) I haven't seen every game so I am sure I will add more to my list later but these have really stuck out to me for what I watched so far!

Another must-watch is the Ninja Gaiden relay race. Phenomenal commentary and + Show Spoiler + both teams are seconds away from one another throughout all three races. Neck-and-neck the entire time! Also I just watched Werster's new Pokemon run. The guy knows absolutely every detail about everything in the game, it's utterly absurd. + Show Spoiler + Also, I'm gonna tell you that the run basically ends at 21 minutes and 15 seconds in, and I guarantee you that even as late as 21 minutes in, you won't believe that he's anywhere near done. And then the last 15 seconds blow your mind.

Fuck the new 3ds. Fuck faster loading time bullshit ruining the DS speedrunning community. (I am in no way still angry about a console being announced months later)

I find it way better to watch actually, it still has some regular J-RPG content and routing, but the end game (and by end game, it comes starting 1h30-1h45) changes everything and it's impressive. It involves RNG manipulation, funny strategies to kill end game bosses with level 10ish characters and some hilarious bugs and tricks.

Really wish that runs didn't default to 100% all the time since some categories just aren't as interesting that way imo
