And I think 3 seasons of GSL and SPOTV, the seasons must run at same time, otherwise there isnt enough time for 6 seasons,( first season of SPOTV ends March, so almost 3 months only 1 season) and it doesnt also make sense if for example, if we take that the 2 leagues run almost at same period of time, maybe just 2 or 3 weeks difference, and a player, maybe Taeja is able to advance in both Finals, and it means he has 2 times WCS points in 1 Season. So it means also the players have 6 seasons+Proleague+Kespa Cup, which wont fit the idea of NEW WCS System 2015 of Blizzard, they wanted that foreigners may at least have a chance to compete with Koreans, by the semi region lock. And if they allow Koreans to have so much WCS points, it wont help even if it was full region lock. So i am pretty sure, the players who plays SPOTV has no chance to play till next season. But we will have to wait till for more information.

If they're really the ESPN of Korea they should be able to dedicate more resources to this, but PL honestly looked like an amateur production when they did it. Quite a drop off in quality from what I was used to with OGN. But maybe they just didn't want to dedicate too much resources to an English broadcast which could be temporary. You honestly think that ESPN would dedicate a ton of resources to an ESPN to make a SC2 game as well produced as an NFL game? Give me a break... SPOTV did quite fine with SPL so far, and the only conclusion you can draw from that is that with SPLs continued success will come furthered monetary and concentrated support.

I definitely think they could improve though, especially in terms of translating things to English. While I don't mind announcements and commercials being in Korean (maybe it's more complicated to broadcast in 2 languages), they could at least add English subtitles to the videos like the trailer or the name contest or even the DotA interviews they play during breaks. They do have dedicated translator for player interviews, so that's good. Production seems decent to me, though the translator voice is usually really quiet. Also, they should probably fix the VoDs on their YouTube channel, they are always in random order. Speaking about translation, could someone translate that trailer with player interviews? I really wish they put subtitles on YT Here is the translation by an amateur translator (I am Korean though). I'm sure Blizzard is still ironing out how to distribute WCS points between WCS international vs the two Korean leagues, so we might not hear about that until Blizz make their WCS announcement.

If yes, then like I wrote yesterday, the Korean players have 6 Seasons+Proleague+Kespa Cup and some will definitely go to IEM, Dreamhack, HSC and other WCS Point Tournaments, while foreigners have only 3 Season+tournaments I mentioned, and its only 1 League for NA and EU players together. If it was separated in NA and EU like this and last year, it would ve been maybe ok, now it is like making the chance for foreigners equal almost to 0 to qualify for the Blizzcon.

With the amount of Korean tournaments increased as you mentioned, I guess less Korean players will participate in IEM/DH/etc and therefore more points will be granted for the foreign scene. Blizzcon is supposed to be the tournament of the very best players - more than 1-2 foreigners shouldn't be there anyway, imo.
