Did the LoL section scare you off early on or something? Nah, I just wasn't really playing LoL anymore when I started playing mafia here, so basically all of my posts are in this subforum. Pretty much the only LoL'ing I do nowadays is watching tourneys and maybe logging in once every 2-3 months and doing an ARAM
Ah that makes sense. I don't think I've seen you online in a while either(then again I don't play enough still). Join the LR threads and join in on the terror posting that is any LR thread! Nice to see you around again. Also let me know if you are going to try for season end rewards in LoL, so that you can carry me to gold. ggggg

Sheeping can be amazing, you just have to figure out who to sheep where.
In this game sheeping Wave was a shit-tier decision, and also nobody else really found scum so there wasn't anybody to sheep, but in other games people sometimes find scum and you see that and just think "yep", so you sheep.
That doesn't mean you can't be looking for other scum, it just means you set aside stupid shit like your pride or your mighty tunnels because you want to lynch scum instead. which, is kind of your goal.

I was "doing nothing" when I tried to push for Asmo or Soniv whenever he showed a weakness and I avoided tunneling on bandwagons so I wouldn't look like I'm sheeping? D: Or do you mean that I didn't actually do anything with all my reads, like push mislynches, get town leader cred, etc. save poke ComaDose?
After Day 1 Tolkien was the obvious kill but the next big threat to us was ketchup I think yeah. Wave could have mobilised people if he had a hunch on us, but ketchup reads were more accurate and he didn't seem to fall for our "na look I'm town" tactics. I'm really not sure how the rest would have turned out without the modkill, not because of what he could have said, but just because that'd have given us so many priority targets to handle (ketchup, Soniv, blues in general... ).
Wave what was your out-of-game WIFOM-stuff on mordek?
And what do you guys call shenanies? When town jumps on a train unexpectedly like what happened Day 2, because that screws with scum's plans and they can't organise a response/get a mislynch secured fast enough usually?

Oh yes, I screwed up big time. I insta-signed up in the thread and started reading the guides. Unfortunately the guides contained PM game advice and Ver's big write-up was also in regards to a PM game. So I didn't re-read the rules and just assumed mafia was a PM game. I also saw LT's post about how he checked his PM and confirmed he's town and I misread it as him talking to Wave saying "Check your PMs, I'm confirmed town." So like an idiot I PM'd Cixah "What do you think town's best play is here? I can prove I'm town to you" and PM'd Wave, "Is my questioning on LT that off base?". Cixah said nothing and Wave obviously pointed out the rules. So I felt absolutely sick for the next 24 hours last Sunday to Monday. Fortunately it was all very WIFOM which was intentional as it was D1 and I couldn't trust anyone anyway. I tried to post those questions in the thread so everyone could see. Man I felt terrible

Oh shit, praise from marv! Yeah for the first few days I completely wrote off mordek as town for that PM, but then I started second guessing myself late into D3, not that it mattered. I asked Dandel if it would be ok to bring it up in thread but it really would have created more thread distraction than it was worth.

All scum that I was, the post where I cheered you not to stress yourself too much and just enjoy the game was genuine too. But yeah Mafia takes sooo much time wtf. It's not even the time you spend posting, it's the same you spend thinking about the game.

If any townies haven't read the scum QT, go do it. Especially around our D2 shanannies, it really exemplifies the things you should be aware of. Medic claim was uncontestable when he made it, but should have been punished or at least more heavily scrutinized D3.

Just for the record, I tried to fight the claim because it didn't work for me! I also think he slipped, and no one realized it. He tried to play it off as if he saved someone Night 1 by saying there was only 1 night kill because of him(so he was saying scum had 2 kp somehow). I pointed out that mod confirmed only 1 factional kp, so the chance of a night 1 save was really non-existent. The other possibilities were scum poisoner and scum vigi. He'd have to get a save on someone who a possible scum vigi shot! To add on to that, what type of scum vigi wouldn't wait for a blue role claim to shoot on? Basically town saved Alzadar here because I couldn't convince any of them to stick to the town train. QQ
Also, the town train was definitely all town train. It was really amazing. Cixah, Soniv, Ghandi, Wave, mordek, myself, and Asmo. I think we should have stuck to the train because it was basically a town confirmation for the majority of us if we got the lynch off. People got cold feet after the claim, but I still stuck to it! Imagine what this game could have been if it stuck: Alzadar dead to town train, owb died to serial poisoner, and only Alaric left to spot out! That would have been such a huge upswing for town. The possibilities!

Well Alzadar was about the only scum online when it happened, so...

That's the best part. The coincidence of having all town train + no scum to hop on it. gosu timing yo

I didn't quite claim that.

I'm not sure if Soniv is scum or actually Parity Cop, but lynching me sure isn't any better.
For the record, I knew that Medic target didn't get a message. I was hoping that Wave would go into teacher mode when he thought I didn't understand a game mechanic. It worked!

There's a decided difference between "sheeping" and "agreeing with someone's assessment and voting accordingly". Sheeping is just blindly following someone, which is never good. What Dandel is calling amazing isn't sheeping, but is in fact just playing the game of Mafia.
