If she had truly seen the guy who was interested in her as a normal friend, when he tried to kiss her, she would have just told him nicely that she saw him as just a friend, and wouldn't mention the incident much to others for fear of embarrassing either one. The fact that she goes around complaining to her friends in a disgusted manner shows that it was her intention to get him attracted to her so she could reject him. By going around complaining to her friends, she increases her social status by showing that guys are after her and she has the standing to reject them. I.e. she was merely leading him on for her own personal benefit.

Also, sorry but couldn't help but chuckle at Dabdobi XD One last thing I noticed and guess it's due to lack of experience but it felt like you were a bit forceful with your first girlfriend. More so this part: "Look, you're not a man and you don't know anything about being a man, but I am one so I know exactly what he's trying to do. No more of this shit." Guessing it was made more 'forceful' for the blog.

One thing I don't understand: what is "flat-ironing" your hair? Is that a thing nowadays with young guys?

After my first relationship of 4 years ended I thought I would never quit dwelling on it. I would think of every reason why I wasn't good enough, or anything that I may have done to indirectly cause her to love someone else. I found ways to cope much like you, even a bit more-so. But after about a year and a half I looked at it from a different perspective, more specifically the opposite from before: I began thinking of reasons why my girlfriend loved me in the first place. I started refining aspects of my personality that attracted her and other girls in the first place, and after a matter of time they just started to flock. However, I wasn't satisfied with this. I (much like yourself) didn't want a fling, or a hook-up, or a brief relationship. Companionship in this world is one of the most key and necessary things to human psyche (imo). It fills us with what seems like never ending happiness and joy just to know that someone truly loves and enjoys being our partners. But relationships of this sort don't just happen. It takes a journey to find someone, hell it took you over half your life to find your first love man. And I'm sure you (much like I did myself) would have never believed beforehand that a girl would have loved you as long as she did. Eventually I decided that I would never love another girl again, and I would never pursue another girl again. Foolish enough I believed that every relationship would end the same way, that it was too much work to make someone else happy when I "knew" I would end up heartbroken. Instead of love I focused on myself, my school, my appearance and every aspect that made me stand out to people in the first place. Fast forward 3 years, I'm living with my girlfriend of over a year that I just can't see myself without. And funny enough, these girls that caused me so much grief and pain in the past.... I can hardly remember their faces. I'm sorry to blog in your blog man, it's just that I can relate on a very personal level. If this is all old news then disregard this post other than "5/5 good read man". However, if this is still fresh then believe me when I say things will get better. You will find someone. It's inevitable my dude. You just have to focus on yourself, and making yourself a better person. Girls will see this and it will attract them like no other. It'd be easy for us to just give up and lose hope man, but nothing is ever easy. "Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried is the true failure." Some of us Are gonna try ...

Pretty sure it's just using hair straighteners, like girls have been doing for ages. Probably gave it a different name to make ti sound less gay? #sadinsecurepeople

Loved the whole thing actually but this outrageous and vivid description was the exact opposite of weak and childish because it was a strong, unique, aggressive, and humorous description of PB's poor self image early in his dating life. Major highlight of the blog for me. 5/5 for the whole thing.

As always, the content is not that important with your blogs, pubbanana, they're just so beautifully written Although now that I think about it, it's a little Romeo & Juliet story, even though this Muslim strictness isn't new in any way.
