Hopefully PPD can learn to put together a complete game plan and the team as a whole can mature from these LANs leading up to TI4 enough to have a decent showing there.

Hes a great drafter and captain, but his teams don't do well against the very best becuase hes weak as a individual player. Plus mason doesn't actually play hard carry, so if rtz gets even slowed down they're fucked. Like mason was going aghs on gyro before the game was decided. You can put him on a hard carry, but hes going to play utility because thats just how they've been playing for months now.

They seem to be having problems in ingame decision making at times.

Universe is the only veteran in the team and mason is a first timer. PPD i think still needs help with in game decision making mid game to late. that is why i always think Fear the player player for EG overall because of what he can contribute to the team outside player skill and mechanics. too bad he got hurt, their young team could really benefit from his experience. i hope EG can just suck all the experience they can get from this tourney and learn a lot. Fear can still bring in the presense of coaching and what he has to offer from outside the game.

I think EG is a really really powerful team right now at least closely on par with DK. They seem to be having problems in ingame decision making at times. This is Mason's first LAN. Plus the group stage drafts weren't great, as Zai just said. Their drafting today seemed much more solid. Rocky start, but when you factor that for EG, this is their third LAN, all three with a different carry, that changes things a bit. They picked it up when it mattered most and now they secured another top 3 tournament finish.
