We alrdy have an afk and I'm being team killed on purpose so I afk too and say "fuck it im done". I proceed to get kicked immediately because they voted together against me for afking for literally 15sec. yup :/ in my experience these games are rare but still

Just like a guide for someone who's literally never touched counterstrike or much fps before (the one that Tennet posted seems handy though).

Just report for griefing after he TKs you, ignore them (whether you actually mute them is up to you) and just play your game. Work on parts of your game that you can do solo, example: T side, try to work a site yourself and get picks. CT side, just play the site. No point giving them ammo to kick you/report YOU for griefing. Calling people out on stuff is pointless, they've already given their excuse for sucking, giving them any sense of reason/logic will just fall on deaf ears.

Does it make you feel better about yourself? The problem is you, not them. I would seriously hate to have you on my team. You are exactly the kind of hateful rager that insults others and make a team bad, helping to make MM a bad experience. It's no wonder that they all voted to have you kicked. Better a bot than a toxic player.

I wouldn't have voted against you, but you are exactly the kind of player that annoys me the most in CSGO matchmaking. How exactly do you think you improve the teammates' game if you "call him out" (whatever that means - probably insults)? I hope you accumulate enough kicks for a ban.

Unless there's a clear hierarchy this is true for all teams. Especially in an environment where there are no consequences for performing badly. My story of the day: Being down 0-5 and a guy starts with "Kick me please I have lags". Team doesn't kick him and he starts to TA / teamflash and sits around doing nothing. We lose 16-12 with him starting to play "for real now" after he sees that we might actually have a chance at winning (was something like 12-10). I hope he learned his lesson, but somehow I doubt it.

Even stuff as small as refraining from calling folks out and making sure to say "good job" whenever someone makes a good play has made a big difference in terms of luck with randoms. It's same for pubs in team games generally, dota, lol, etc.

Very much this, I always make it a point to call out any positive stuff someone does and keep my finger waaaay clear from the talk button when someone potatoes. Giving advice can be useful at lower ranks but at some point everyone knows how, and it's pretty annoying getting told "you shoulda done this" when you are aware of this and simply fucked up. That being said, smack talking is fun as hell, as long as everyone involved is "into" it. Takes a bit of character judgement I guess .

If they would have started to insult me i would have rush each rounds with pistols to die quickly On April 19 2014 00:23 HeatEXTEND wrote: Very much this, I always make it a point to call out any positive stuff someone does and keep my finger waaaay clear from the talk button when someone potatoes. Yeah taunting can be fun but ONLY if both play the game and it stays nice. We got a match with friends we go 0-3 and every time we lose, there was a guy that was writing : "LIKE A BOSS !!". We won the 4th round. And before we could write "LIKE A BOSS !!" he wrote it like that : "LIKE A BOSS ". We knew the guy wasn't a dick and we played around. Was a nice match. We lost something like 16-10, but it was nice.

Don't say anything to your teammates unless it's relevant to the game (like calling out enemies), or congratulating them on a play they made. If you don't have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all. I find constructive criticism to be a mixed bag. Some people will take it, others will go full persecution complex. If your teammates rage or say dickish things to you, ignore them. They want attention or they are trying to piss you off. Block communication if you have to; if the person is raging and being a dick, they probably weren't saying anything useful anyway.

It often times encurages others to use it too, and shuts dickheads basicly out. A 'cheer up' or a 'nice' can realy help to improve the team as such. It's kinda a awkward to queue up solo, but all of my old cs 1.6 team/friends have 'retiered' from competetive ego shooters. So yeah, voice communication is not as funny as it was.
