The season has official kicked off, with OSL finally gearing up, Proleague getting busy and MSL entering it's 4th group match.
Group E: Sept 22nd – 18:30 Korean Game 1 – sAviOr vs RuBy @ Python Game 2 – SangHo vs fOrGG @ Zodiac Winners @ Blue Storm Losers @ Blue Storm Final @ Loki II
The only name in here that REALLY matters is obviously the Maestro. The rest are fairly new faces, with the exception of fOrGG who's played in an OSL previously. The main focus is if the Maestro still has IT. It will be a lie to say that many fans have been worrying with his recent performance. 1-2 vs Iris at Daum OSL, 2-3 vs FBH at GomTV2 MSL, 1-2 vs Hwasin at WCG, and 0-2 to start the Proleague.
Fortunately, his group no group of death (although it nearly was). Neither fOrGG nor RuBy have shown any special strength in TvZ. And as for SangHo, as long he's not Bisu it really doesn't matter.
sAviOr (Z) vs. Ruby (T) @ Python
Despite his recent performance, it is far too early to really worry about sAviOr yet. A below-par sAviOr is still an above average progamer. And it will take much more than a few losses to top-tier players to really shake the Maestro. And as the map is Python, I believe it's safe to put my money on sAviOr.
SangHo (P) vs. fOrGG (T) @ Loki II
There is not too much known about SangHo. His only impressive performance would probably defeating Iris in the MSL qualifiers. Otherwise, the only one's he's beaten are oDin and go.go... not exactly an achievement one would boast about. fOrGG, however, has a little more to fall back on. Having already some major league experience in OSL, and known for a killer TvP (3-0 against Bisu), many would probably put their finger on this one.
There is one thing to consider though. The map is Loki II, which is being known to be favored for Protoss because of it's carrier-friendly terrains.
Remaining Games I'm sure many are betting on sAviOr coming out of this group without too much problems. The real question is who out of SangHo, fOrGG and RuBy will make it. I personally will be rooting for SanHo, because we already have 4 terrans out of 6 players already qualified. And there's still plenty of more terrans to advance. The more terrans eliminated early on, the better.

error in the title. Sept 22nd, not Sept 15th. If mod could fix, that would be great.

I'm going to be pretty shocked if Savior doesn't make it through this group. I suppose I could see him losing to fOrGG, but he'd really have to snuff it up to not make it through the other two...

Err, hasn't Python basically been a kiss of death (for reasons that are still unclear to most people) for Savior? Not that I don't think he's going to win, just thought it was interesting the way that was phrased.

TLPD has Savior 1-6 total on python vs. T, on a 5 game losing streak?
|
I would not be surprised if fOrGG manages to pull a win again savior (his tvz is so-so but his macro is absolutely amazing) and Saviro takes the other spot. I'd like to see Sangho/Savior go through however, way too many terrans.

Nah, as a T user I still vote that T must win no matter what. Can't go against sAviOr though, go maestro!
