Honestly, who gives a shit as long as they are giving money to Prime? If the shopping channel thinks it's a good idea to sponsor them it's their own responsibility.

But maybe they ship things like ramen and basic life essentials so that gamers and nerds can stay alive at home?

Not necessarily, this needs to succeed. If it fails to provide H&S with the returns they were promised and are expecting, it's just going to scare future sponsors away from the scene. No matter how desperate teams are, they can't be taking on any sponsorship just because it's available. The good thing for Prime here is that they have a history of trying to sell their uniforms and their own brand of clothing, and this seems to be a good avenue for them. If this does become successful, they will have found a sustainable source of revenue even if it's completely unrelated to eSports. Edit: Obviously, a lot of assumptions are and will be made here re: what the sponsorship actually entails. I'm guessing H&S is expecting new customers. In my side of marketing/advertising, we call this NUA (New User Acquisition). By adding a new brand from an industry that's seemingly almost unrelated to their current target audience, H&S probably sees this as a cheap endeavor that could open up a lot more wallets and put many more eyes on their website. The more I think about this, the better I think Prime's chances are, especially with them now being in ProLeague and GSTL gone (meaning there's only one team league in Korea that matters).
