At least it feels like 2013's HotS games were more sluggish and their beauty lies within wasted opportunities and suboptimal exectution in big amounts making for fast paced back and forth games, while in late WoL the games shone when perfect macro play got paired with that one or two strokes of genius. Maybe it's just a feeling, but I just needed mention it.

You guys are biased and I am biased, but at least I'm not doing media coverage Several games from Scarlett, Goswer, Grubby, Suppy, Sjow and Hasuobs but no Naniwa? Really? You're reaching for new heights!

But beside that, good order, Taeja vs Inno was freaking amazing.

If you let people openly vote on a neutral ground (e.g. Blizzard webpage) then you could make such claims. Otherwise, you are making such claims based on a subjective selection of games Ps. TvT was selected as the best game of the years 2013, 2012, and I still remember the hype behind MMA vs MVP GSL final. Personally, I think TvT is just slow and over-hyped. (I know that the stats show TvZ as the most frequently appearing in the selection. Here, I'm just explaining why I focused on TvT instead.)

Well, once again: Scarlett vs Bomber delivered as (almost?) no other game 2013 The most skillful? There might have been better matches in this regard, agreed. But still, it was a VERY high level play on both sides on a map they both didn't really know. And that's skill as well :-P There are just other factors than pure skill which determine which serie's "the best". Skill is important, but it'd be completely wrong to say the Scarlett and Bomber didn't deliver skillwise in this match, imo. Andthere were simply no matches where I was excited watching them as Scarlett vs Bomer and therefore... completely agree with the #2 spot. As I never really liked TvT... Scarlett - Bomber could have been #1 as well for my liking, but yeah, there are people who actually enjoy mirror matches, so that's fine :-P Sorry but for me it wasnt as interesting as TvZ gets... Drg vs Inno and Curious vs Inno were far more entertaining imo hell even gumiho vs losira in wol was a better showing of tvz. I enjoyed Scarlett vs Bomber just like anyone else but it is waaaay overhyped due to foreigner and Day9 screaming best game ever...

Hm, I see, so it was more equal than I remembered. But he couldn't use stimpack because his medivacs had no energy and his marines were orange health, with Scarlett's micro, she could snipe medivacs and marines with her mutas and wait them regen time after time
