Since this being local, it is also faster. Also Scelight provides services which GGTracker can't, e.g. replay management (auto-save, auto-rename, manual rename etc) and other services, like game start alert, others which are not yet added (e.g. APM alert). Ok thank you for your reply I'll definitly try it. Thank you for your work.

Scelight is supposed to replace sc2gears and it is indeed smaller and more efficient than sc2gears, you have to admit that sc2gears is too big and clunky in a lot of ways. (Sadly I'll stick to sc2gears for a while since scelight doesn't work for me)

How "significant" does a screen have to be to count? If I flip back and forth quickly between location hotkeys, it doesn't seem like this should count for much. Is it screen+action? How does this handle mouse-scrolling, keyscrolling and camera locking? It seems to me it shouldn't count scrolls under a certain pre-defined width. I'm not sure why anyone would ever play camera-locked, but I could see that blowing the SPM out the water for basically no change in visual context.

EDIT: that said, it is appreciated very much the work that dakota_fanning does.

From looking at my own replays, it seems like just switching back and forth between camera hotkeys with no actions will count towards SPM. At the start of the game, I'll set up my camera keys then flip through them quickly, and scelight shows this as ~200 SPM. Edit: I just realized I'm also pressing my nexus control group key while flipping through my camera keys.

The program is written in Java so everyone can use it Which ends up being the precise reason why I *won't* use it. Really not into having java on my machine. Congrats on your release though!
