It is available in the Launcher or in the application: Help menu / License. To sum it up: All features are available in the free version, limitations are not related to features but rather limitations like required internet connection on startup or startup delay.

As a former Java developer, I can totally see why you wouldn't switch. It works, does what you want, you have a nice IDE and you know what you can do with it and everything comes naturally. But as an end-user, Java has just become such a shitfest the last couple of years (basically after the takeover of Oracle). The browser plugins are a security mess, the runtime is mostly a security mess, the GUI frameworks for java are slow as fuck (why do you think Java is mostly regarded as a slow language, while it's actually pretty fast? The GUIs all suck ass), you get pestered with updates every week or so and there is always a couple of background processes eating up memory and processor time for no good reason at all. A couple of months ago, I tried to really work on my SC2 and I installed SC2Gears (and along that Java). SC2Gears is totally broken with Windows Aero on and Java crashed my machine a couple of times, and along that popups asking me to update Java (while it was a fresh install) and windows had to wait for the shitty background processes to close before shutting down. Seriously, Scelight might be the best thing since sliced bread, but as long as it requires a JVM I won't touch it.

Screens/mn is also great. On the other hand I can't seem to find the EAPM calculation, am I being dumb or is it not there anymore? No big deal but I kind of liked it. Thanks for another great tool!

To make a player favored: open a replay of his/her, and click on the player settings icon (a wrench) under the player. That opens the player menu, and choose Add to the Favored player list. OR you can manually edit the Favored Player list: open the Settings dialog and go to the Replay Processor page. Player aliases will come in a future release.

Scelight is the successor to Sc2gears. It was re-made from the ground to fix the unpleasant things of Sc2gears, to make it easier to use, develop and maintain, and to improve quality in general; building on the experience gained from the Sc2gears era. Also on a side note if you can't or don't want to configure Proxy: if you register, Scelight can be started without internet connection. That way you only have to setup your VPN when there are updates and you want to install them. Other than that, you won't need internet connection to start Scelight.
