You play massively scummy + bad. is way over the board and CR shouldn't have to say he was hurt by it. The fact you were town only makes what you said way worse because there is no justification for you personally attacking someone like that. That's not mafia that's enlarging your dick.

Hey, I was totally cool around it as well. But now it's endgame and I want to know why I got removed out of this game. Because if it is because I called somebody his play shitty and bad when his play is shitty and bad I dont even know what to think. And I was fine with it till a point that if you invested time in this game would be infuriating for anybody.

HOW is it WAY overboard??????????? HOW THE FUCK? What word should I have used? I used bad and shitty.

As a townie you are often just venting frustration, which is far more understandable. Yet a mafia aligned player constantly got away with insults in this game. Yeah this is basically the point. In most instances you have to trust the emotions take control r the other option is that someone is really being strategically a massive dick (which is really really bad).

You can phrase it nicer if you want to get the same message across. These posts On October 27 2013 10:29 Grackaroni wrote: No need to be a dick about it. I did and in my eyes that was perfectly fine, it was rude. But it was in line with CR his play and it was nothing about him as person. I didnt call him a retard. I didnt say he was stupid. Which happens a lot on this forum. I said his PLAY was shitty and bad. And read his filter. IT was shitty and bad.

I was a dick in Noir on purpose, which is a bit of the reason why I try to avoid being a dick in either alignment because I feel really dirty about it. But I do think it's better to be a dick as mafia then town, because at least then you're not being a dick just to be a dick, you're still simply playing the game. Maybe in a bad way, but you have a justifiable reason. Still unacceptable though tbh

I kind of get where syllo is coming from. Here's another example: Presuposition: Whether there are 3rd parties in the game is public knowledge and hosts can answer that question. Scenario A: It's a random day and a townie asks the hosts "Hosts, are there 3rd parties in this game?". And hosts answer "No" Scenario B: HF claims "Guys, I am a Survivor" and goes AFK. Then some townie asks the hosts "Hosts, are there 3rd parties in this game?" Should hosts respond "No" in scenario B? In Scenario B, the townie asking the question is in the same spot, he would be basically asking the hosts whether HF is a liar while stating that he's going to base his decision to lynch HF on whatever the mods say (i.e, if the mods answer "No" HF gets lynched). However, if HF hadn't claimed that, the hosts would have happily answer "No". Hosts giving public information shouldn't depend on the state of the game, so they should still answer "No". So, assuming hosts will make it clear there is no 3rd party and only scum (I dunno if that's the case in this game, read OP there was no mention of 3P so I dunno), then they should answer "No" in both cases. Now going back to this scenario. If VT/Squib having no power (i.e no secret vote) is a piece of information that is and should be public to the thread, then I agree with syllo, hosts should have answered "No". Why? Because if townies would have asked that in any other time before HF claimed, the hosts would have answered "No" as well. Townies shouldn't be denied information that would have been happily given to them at any other time just to help mafia, that's the actual host intervention. Now the only thing to define is whether that VT/Squib info should be public or not. But since apparently hosts said that it was (it was in role PMs and it was valid + Show Spoiler + On November 03 2013 04:45 Ange777 wrote: ... In this case, there had already been flipped VT players which should have been enough to prove that a Squib is just a regular VT. Of course, maybe hosts didn't want that info to be public (maybe they wanted townies to think some blue role could get squib for instance). However in that case there should still be some clarification, like posting "We are not giving information away" or PMing back.

I understand emotions sometimes take over (even as mafia) but purposely affecting other people's feelings in a way that is in no way game relevant should be unacceptable. Calling people names is one of them. Another thing i really do not like is what happened in Desert LYLO. One guy said "i will never play with you again if you are unable to see i am town". What am i supposed to do in that situation? I f that comment comes from scum i will disrespect them forever because it's so cheap way to "prove towniness you failed to do in thread by contributing to the game". I basically have to assume they are town because of dick move analysis and that's not fun.

they were probably trying to help the scumteam but let's be honest, I was a VT that was prob going to be mislynched so it actually helped town.
