I saw a guy linked it on his facebook and he doesn't even know what starcraft is. Yeah, I would be interested in how much pizza they'd go through at full price (or close to full price). Since that would only be actual esports sales, and showing the buying power of our market and not just the power of half off (and our ability to spread it to social media enough for it to go mainstream).

Sponsors like Razor or Steelseries are great but they are already known for people who are in the gaming community. If eSport wants to keep growing you need at some point viewers that never played. At the end this was a great piece of promotion.

You do what you do best and eat alot of pizza, for e-sports ofcourse! *obligatory USA chanting in background* omg... this is the the best response in this thread. you have the punks going "go figure, america fat, yada yada yada", then you have this, same thing but made it fun and hilarious. thank you sir. Just goes to show you can take jabs at people as long as it is funny xD

if it wasn't for the aggressive advertising on twitter and on some streams, i would call it a success. but the advertising on some media was quite disturbing.

The thing is you are right but 99.9% of all commentators in these "pizza" threats dont care about. There is something i noticed about the esport "business" that is very unique and a huge thing: The receiving end of the industry (viewers) want that the teams, players and organizations have success and MAKE MONEY. If you watch any streamer like demuslim or tlo and turn on the stream chat you will see somebody saying "why i dont get adds?" in no time. In a time where people say "what? a company wants to make money? These evil bastards kill them with fire!!!!" that is a huge deal because have you ever heard somebody saying "damn why i don´t see more adds during the superbowl i want to support the Giants"? I don´t think so. If eSport is able too keep that "i want to support you" atmosphere within the viewership community and is able to sell it to "big market" sponsorship it could have the chance of beeing mainstream.

I hope, in the near future, we'll see that kind of things on a worlwide scale or at least available for a few more countries. gg wp 'murica
