As Mvp said, he should've flown to Europe for the Ro32 already and that's what WCS Premier Division is going to be sooner or later. An offline competition where everyone plays from the same location. If it forces Koreans to fly to Europe, so be it. They chose WCS EU for easy money or easy WCS points or the chance to get to the World Finals. It makes no sense to me if you acknowledge that and still lament about them having a hard time because they're not in Europe. Well, yes, of course, but everybody knew and considered that from the start, the players included. They want to win, they commit to the region they selected. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. I do agree in that vein, in the sense that for now there is little option but to deal with the lag. But flying over to Europe isn't an option for someone like Pandatank and numerous others who struggled with lag during the qualifiers. I want to stress that the point isn't to lament and bitch about it but rather acknowledge it and be aware that the configuration of the WCS necessarily means many willing participants will run up against lag. It isn't their fault, it doesn't necessarily mean they are greedy, it "doesn't serve them right" (as I've read so many times). The truth is I'm even more respectful of MvP talent approaching the game. He prepared and anticipated how he could modify his game play to secure his advancement. That is indicative of a smart player. Yet that isn't always going to give him or others enough of an edge.

This is WCS EU, if you choose to play in the European server you have to accept all the advantages and disadvantages it entails. There is no complaining about the server lag or whatever.

It is just that every server present lag for him, and Europe is his primary region according to Blizzard. I really think for those kind of players, Blizzard and ESL should make accommodations like having a first tournament to determine a few representatives and then fly them to Germany in time for WCS. It would be nice to give everybody a chance, regardless of where they come from.

So looking at who participated in WCS EU and has no real region, this "first tournament" would basically consist of Pandatank and Xigua.

One more reason to just fly them to Europe before the competition. Aren't there like other African players? Maybe there would be more people willing to play if that was the case. As for Xigua and everyother chinese player, I don't know what are the conditions on the KR server, but maybe their situation is the same. But you're right that's quite hard to settle when there are so few players concerned, I was just answering to the guy who said that people who choose another region don't have the right to complain after Pandatank was mentioned. The situation is not as easy for everybody.

Also, it just seems right when MVP wins, even if he's a Terran.

I'm pretty sure most sane people see Lucifron as the favorite to win WCS EU. I haven't read a single hate comment regarding Lucifron.

Anything else you would like to say? These days, the supervisor has been losing more weight and he’s been struggling. I really hope he remains strong. I really wish things would just go smoothly so his wife will also be able to relax a little. I want to thank my fans in Korea for cheering me on and my girlfriend for cheering me on heavily. The day after tomorrow, NesTea hyung and MLG manager, Hwanni, will be heading overseas together so I hope they stay safe and have a good trip. Is he talking about Hirai or someone else? I've never seen him referred to as " supervisor " by the players before, usually " director ".
