Was the point to criticize Stephano for an inaccurate prediction? You were probably warned because your post is completely irrelevant to this fanclub, rather than because people took it as a criticism of Stephano. Your post really was just a swipe at foreigners in general. You are the first person in quite a while to be warned and plenty of people have been critical of Stephano.

How was it irrelevant if it had to do with Stephano's prediction? Swipe at foreigners? No. That comment was just to show how little Stephano understands his Korean opponents, and how much he underestimates them. How will such lack of knowledge help him compete against the best of the best? It directly relates to his attitude of "I don't care who my opponent is." Maybe it's time he starts caring a little bit more. Somehow, that criticism didn't sit well with someone, and they decided that it warranted a warning. *applaud*

He is free to take his preferred approach to the game and the competition, and no one can tell him otherwise. If you don't agree, fine, but it's mean to go about accusing him of ignorance for it. and maybe we should be more understanding of a disappointed fan. We've all been there.

Dunno why you're mad but for me it shows that he was right . Stephano cares a lot but as he explained it many times preparing special builds in GSL is useless . Korean players don't attend many foreign tournament and don't stream so they can focus on GSL and prepare specific builds (especially Kespa players such as Flying and Bogus) . So unless Stephano starts living in Korea and stops attending every foreign tournament he's never going to compete with koreans on the preparation side . It's his choice and you can respect it or not . But the whole "Stephano knows nothing I know better" is bullshit .

You can only leave this fanclub with a "grats" or "gg wp".

Seems like a bit of a leap to me. I don't think you should be warned for that sort of comment but your views are exaggerations and negative. If you broadcast your exaggerated negative opinions about a player in that player's fanclub, you're asking for a warning and you're obviously going to get flack. Why wouldn't his fans push back? There is some truth in what you say but you should make your point in a more balanced manner if you don't want to piss people off. If you don't care about pissing people off, don't whine about the fact that people pushback when they disagree with your posts.

Winning tournaments that not nearly as many Koreans were participating in as there are now; and back when competition was nowhere near as fierce since Kespa was still occupied with Broodwar. Being in Code S, and winning those early tournaments, which were far far easier than the tournaments of today, only means he's super talented; but it says nothing about his approach as a player. The fact that new Korean players are springing out of nowhere and kicking experienced players' asses should all the more tell him that Koreans mean business. My view isn't exaggerated just because you failed to see the reasons behind it. Negative? LOL So according to fanboys, any kind of criticism is negative and exaggerated.

My view isn't exaggerated just because you failed to see the reasons behind it. Negative? LOL So according to fanboys, any kind of criticism is negative and exaggerated. He didn't win early tournaments. His best year was 2012, which wasn't the early phase of SCII. The KESPA players have had mixed results in GSL related play. Only very recently have they been showing very strong results in GSL, and then those results are limited to very few players so while the competition level has increased it's misleading to discount results in 2012 as "early tournaments" simply because the KESPA players, only a few of whom can be counted amongst the best players in the world at this point, hadn't fully transitioned to SCII yet. Also, did you just start watching SCII? Why do you feel the need to tell people that Koreans are kicking ass? This has always been the case and will likely always be the case because of the infrastructure they have set up in Korea. It's old news. Move on. Also I thought you said you were leaving. Why are you still here posting?
