So far, it looks like Munk-E is not going to show up at all. This indicates to me that he is not active lurking, but instead just not paying attention to the game. What he's doing right now is not an optimal scum strategy or a town strategy, because both sides obviously don't want to be lynched. This means that he is 100% a coinflip right now, as others have said. If he comments again (or votes), he'll have some major things to answer for. The problem is that I'm not really seeing a clear alternative. yamato's posting can be explained by newbie town or scum, as I said earlier, and I'm not convinced it's scum. In this sense, I feel him as a coinflip also. However, yamato is posting and providing some comments where M-E is giving nothing, so I'd rather lynch Munk today. If yamato is scum, we can look at his posting d2 and see if it still can be explained by newbie town. Oats: On November 27 2012 00:07 Oatsmaster wrote: Cheesecake, I want to make it clear now. Opinions on who is scum/town? What do you think about kickstarts case on me IN DETAIL. Here are some questions I actually want answered: - Why is acting casual a scum trait? Why wouldn't a townie be acting casual? - Does Munk-E's first post also seem "forced" to you? Does that make him scum as well? Note: the purpose of this post is not to defend CC, it's to get more information on Oats. He's been tunneling CC all game and hasn't done anything else except push his CC read. Oats, you've said that you can't make a case on CC because he hasn't posted enough. I think you should have enough info for a case by now and I'd really like to hear it. If you can't make a case, drop it and give some opinions on other people. Have to go now, will be back before deadline. Also, just saw the M-E post, I'll read it after and post this anyway if it's still relevant.

Honestly, the read I have on you isn't that scummy, but you just haven't given reads on anyone else but me. The fact that you're still on me is 100% tunneling, but I kind of doubt scum would tunnel me so hard day 1 if they knew me being lynched would flip serious heat on them day 2. But you haven't contributed anything else to the thread except asking a bunch of people questions about their own votes/reads, and that isn't a good thing. What is your obsession with reads? Giving reads in some sort of defined list is not even a town trait. Reads can easily be faked and justified in almost any way. It should be pretty obvious how I feel about people just because of my interaction with them. Giving a list where you're like: this guys scum cus here, this guys null cus this, etc. doesn't reveal anything to town because it's usually just the same information in one localized area. Original cases with reason are the defining aspect of a townie or (good) mafia. It's also interesting that you don't point out anyone else for focusing on one person. Helo focuses on Munk, Aqua on Kick, Oats on me. Why aren't you suspicious of them at all?

/sarcasm There you go Oats, even more people asking you to give some real reads and and a case with any substance behind it. I don't know why people are so upset that I am suspicious of Oats (when I was the only one with a vote on him btw, so it wasn't like a wagon or something) when his posting is so blatantly obscure and he STILL WONT MAKE A REAL CASE OR ANYTHING. It is baffling to me how I am getting people's vote when I am asking Oats to provide something useful, and I put a vote on him because he didn't and still refuses to - how the hell does that earn me a vote. /rant

Aqua's case against kick was half-decent at the time because kick's reaction to Oats voting you was strange. Town read. Oats is playing bad either way. Not convincing enough for me to vote him. Null read, leaning scum. Pretty sure I've said all this.

Yamato, if this is going to be a mys-lynch can you provide us with your top scumreads? Who is the scummiest to you and who do you think we should be getting rid of? Set us up for a good day 2 if you are town. I will be here a bit longer and will read and comment if I need to so there is still time to convince me.

If I read you as scum, then Oats is automatically less so because I highly doubt scum would do this to their partner day 1. But the possibility is that he is scum and you are not. Helo hasn't exactly done anything particularly scummy even if Munk is town. He called out a lurker. A safe play, but not alignment indicative. I don't even know why I type this. You aren't going to take anything I say seriously. You have tunneled me SO HARD this game. It's absurd. I'm frustrated because of futility in posting anything in response to you because everyone twists it into "defending myself" when I do things like this. It creates unproductive discussion about my intentions. Obviously I know they are town, but no one else believes me because YOU have managed to throw enough doubt on my alignment to make people see it as scum.

Seriously, I've been twisting and turning on Kick's filter to explain why I get a scummy feel from him. Despite putting all my confirmation bias to work I haven't been able to convince myself, so I won't vote for him today. At the end of the day, I think my feeling comes from his writing coming across a bit formal to me (at least at time) and perhaps a bit detached, but looking at his townie play in Mario it's similar (he may be more aggressive here, but that's pro-town and not what I'm talking about). The criteria I've looked into lately is 1) who is trying not to get noticed and 2) who doesn't seem interested in finding out if his top scum read is scum. Unsuprisingly a lot of people failed one of the criteria, but rather few failed both. One of them is Jacob. Seriously, the amount of sheeping of safe cases he's been doing is quite staggering. I don't really expect this from town Jacob. He's also jumped the Yamato wagon for no good reason and doesn't really seem interested in finding out whether Yamato really is scum. The other one is Yamato. He's also been doing a lot of sheeping and I'm still unsure what's he's top scum read and why. I'm going to read Munk's posts now and reevaluate my opinion on him.

Jacob, equally, has contributed nothing of real value. If he's off playing a video game like he claims (terrible cop-out), then perhaps you guys need to pressure him into making reads that aren't complete fluff like posting a whole paragraph deciphering if I slept the right amount of time in his opinion. His vote on me seems contrived, as does Munk-E's, because neither one cast serious suspicion on me before placing their vote. MUNK-E IS SCUM. He has lurked the whole game for no good reason. His two serious posts are mostly content-less reasons to sheep his vote on a player already under heat. I see absolutely zero town motivation in his actions at this point. If I get lynched, your day 2 should be DESTROYING him for how terrible he is playing.
