Possibly, but I am thinking it's more of the constant lag and shit audio, add all of this up with constant PvZ ZvZ and PvP and you have yourself a fail tournament

Yeah I've been thinking about this for awhile now. It kinda makes a lot of sense to go for the squishy infesters who are the real backbone of the Zerg army rather than BL. Infesters can survive without BL, but BL can't survive without infesters.

Liquid.HerO vs FXO.BabyKnight Game 3:
HerO double gasses again but no stargate like last game, goes for sentry + immortal but botches every FF vs BabyK's early pokes, loses 2 sentries and 5 probes. BabyK expanded 1.3 seconds after HerO's mistake. 10 supply deficit turns into 30 by 100 food. BabyK moves in with 3 colossi to zero and wins with nice FFs!
BabyK claws one back!
HerO 2/3 > 1/3 BabyK

BabyK vs HerO - Game Three - Ohana
HerO tried to go Zealot-sentry into a fast robotics, but botched his early game micro against some zealot-stalker harassment from BabyK. HerO ended up losing a dozen probes early, and then went through the motions of a dead man walking for eight more minutes before GGing out.

I hope you're kidding. Scarlett's ZvZ has historically been her worst MU.

Her army and unit control could use some work, and she occasionally makes really weird and not so good decisions. There isn't much to do in terms of army control in ZvZ past the early game (everything gets fungaled anyway). Bomber has a tendency to just beat people outright with a heavy macro focused build that overruns with a ton of units, Scarlett is a good match for him because she pumps out a really nice unit count as well.
This perfectly describes the two players. Scarlett is a very mechanically gifted player, but her army control can be a little off. Bomber is someone who overruns an opponent with macro, but has some questionable battle decisions.
