The two armies, gathered on the battlefield at last, stared across the great expanse at each other, nothing but rage in their eyes and contempt in their hearts.
From the back lines, a steady drum beat began to pound.
*THUMP*
Silence.
*THUMP*
*THUMP*
A wry smile tugged at the corner of Bowser's lips as he raised his hand in the air, shushing the drums.
"Princess Peach," he yelled, quite loud even across the entire distance of the battle field. "Mushroom Kingdom is MINE! CHARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEE!"
The battle raged on for hours.
Both armies had a few nasty surprises up their sleeves though. First, unseen by the Mushroom Kingdom army, Bowser had deployed a few Bullet Bill cannons in strategic spots. Before they were taken out, they wreaked havoc on the Peach's army.
Mario had an answer though. He had a stockpile of Fire Flowers and Feathers, which let he and a handfull of troops rain down fireballs onto a huge portion of Bowser's army. They were finally forced to retreat when Bowser brought in a couple of flying Hammer Bros, though.
After the Hammer Bros were pushed back, however, Bowser got too confident. He sent his personal guard Latikas out on a bombing run, and Luigi saw his chance. He activated a Star power up, and charged through the front lines. Just as it was running out, he made what could only be described as the most brilliant move anyone in the Mushroom Kingdom had ever seen. Activating a Leaf power up, he jumped high into the air, homing in on a Flying Koopa who had its back turned. He landed on its back, sending it into its shell, and with a perfectly executed move of physical prowess, used a Tail Attack to send it flying straight at Bowser's head.
With a clunk, it connected. In what seemed like slow motion, the fiend collapsed.
Hapahauli, as Bowser has been lynched.
Night 1 begins now. As a reminder, night actions are due to me, Dandel Ion, and Drazak in ~23 hours, after which there will be a 1 hour resolution period before day starts
