How do you feel after dramatically grabbing your victory and advancing to the finals?
I didn't think I would be able to make it to the finals like this but after I kept on beating my opponents one by one, I was able to get to this point. I feel like I've just died and came back to life.
You gave away three games to Last due to strategic macro games.
Our build orders crossed over and I allowed myself to get shaken up so I gave up three games. But thankfully, I was able to win the fourth game and rediscovered my momentum. After giving him three games in a row, I couldn't help but feel embarrassed. After being down 0-3, how did you pull off your mind control?
Last wasn't playing a standard macro game so I decided to just stay calm as best as I can and play my macro game. I'm not sure if Last got nervous or what but I saw him mess up his micro so I told myself that I had this. In the beginning of the fourth game, you suffered some harassment from reapers.
Honestly, I got hit pretty badly since I didn't see that reaper harass coming but after I blocked his attack well and retaliated successfully, I was able to pull off a comeback.
Your opponent is not known for using siege tanks, and yet he used them positively today.
I didn't practice a lot against siege tank scenarios. There is a strong timing attack that Terrans can do with their siege tanks but if you can force that timing to pass then the Protoss grabs the advantage. So I think the biggest reason why I was able to win was because I decided to stay calm as best as I could and just kept playing my macro game. You have OSL, GSL, and WCS back to back to back but so far you've been doing really great.
I told myself that I should try to grab a championship from at least one out of the three so I am happy that I was able to make it to the finals of the OSL like this. I'm going to prepare well for the my final remaining match so that I can grab a positive result. How confident are you for your upcoming match against Mvp in the Ro4 for GSL?
Mvp is someone who is great at controlling his mentality factors, a great macro player, and someone who has tons of experience so I see the match being incredibly difficult. I am really going to have to prepare extensively for him. Who do you want to face in the finals?
Since this is a finals where I want to be the best that I can be, I would like it if DRG could make it. Instead of a mirror match finals, a PvZ finals would be so much more invigorating. You used to watch your T1 teammates advance to the finals. But now that you yourself made it, how does it feel?
Going to the finals is a dream that is almost impossible to achieve but my teammate hyungs would often make it up there so I would always be so impressed. I saw that Fantasy hyung was having a hard time because he got second place for the previous OSL so I comforted him by telling him that he won second place in the midst of six billion people. I also will head to the finals with that kind of mind set. The players who shined for SC1 seem to be playing sluggishly for SC2 but you are stellar in both SC1 and SC2. What is your driving force?
I don't think I did that well for SC1 (laughs). I just think a lot about the game. When I first started SC2 I would keep thinking about what I should do even as I was trying to fall asleep. I didn't focus on anything else and just focused on the game as I consistently studied the VODs of really good players. Anything else you would like to say?
I want to thank my teammates for practicing with me, and since I was able to difficultly make it to the finals like this, I promise to show a great match and finish off well. I want to ask that people do a lot of cheering for tomorrow's GSL match, and state that I will show a great performance as Korea's representative for the WCS that will be held in China.

Thanks for the translation

That's what seperates the uber gosus from everyone else, keep thinking of that one thing even when you're not doing it.

no he will lose wcs in the first rounds, not even sure he can qualifier in asia (but he has a FUCKN easy group to semis and way to the worldchamps (no gsl guy in it) so i think he can
but then ... he is someone prepare alot over vods etc and on wcs finals where he have to play so much so close ... vs so strong opponents different from each other i cant see his style working ^^
but GOGOGO SUNNY RAIN !

Definitely one of the most impressive comebacks I've seen in SC2.
GL in the finals, would be sick if you could get a double!

Ahh, there is the interview. Thanks.
My biggest fear is that the OSL finals will have tons of empty seats, where is it going to be located at anyway? Besides, i definitely don't want a PvP. I like both MC and DRG but gooooo DRG!

Rain <3 When I checked the result and it was 3-0 I was almost certain you wouldn't make it through, happy! Now crush Mvp in the GSL!

No offence, but that statement really sounds like something you pulled out of your ass... In some of Rains recent matches in WCS, GSL and OSL he has beaten players such as:
- Leenock (2-0) - Jaedong (2-0) - Curious (2-1) - Byun (2-0) - Happy (2-1) - Taeja (2-0) - Polt (2-1) - LiquidHerO (3-0) - MKP (1-0) - DRG (1-0) - Parting (3-1)
In other words he has been beating Code S level Koreans left and right for the last few weeks, and yet you doubt that he will make it against a bunch of no-name Chinese and Taiwanese players? There is no player in WCS Asia that Rain is not AT LEAST on par with!

What? Could you please rephrase your sentences so that it's understandable?

I wonder where Rain got the 600,000 number from. Not sure if there were even that many BW players in the world at the time.

That bothers me too. I hope it doesn't become an embarassment of an event.

Wow he reversed an 0-3 into a 4-3. As much as I hate the annoying elephant talk and BW elitism, I'm starting to be very impressed by the KESPA players and how quickly they're improving. It must take a very strong will and good mindset to win from an 0-3, that's really impressive.
edit: Also thanks for all the hard work seeker.

It's going to hurt me deep inside to root for a zerg especially over MC... but at least DRG is a likeable guy....

I don't speak or read Korean, but the number in the original is 60억, and Google Translate renders 억 as "one hundred million". My guess is that Rain meant 6,000,000,000 and he was thinking of the number of people in the world.
