Maybe one day you'll find yourself in such a position and all can I can wish for is that nobody will be laughing at you when you're down. Please grow up. i hate midas because he made what will now be regarded as one of the stupidest decisions in OSL history, picking the toughest opponent in the ro16. midas now has to go through a tough ass dual tournament with SO much more pressure on him now, especially with SKT1's one starleague rule. he's mentally fucked and if he doesn't make it through dual next time, he's just fucked general. as i said before this is a pivotal point in his career, where he can gain enough confidence to be pushed over the top of that OSL winner hill, or he can violently be shoved back down to mediocrity, as this is just another example of how he can't win when it matters because of his inflexible builds and style. you don't beat a the best player in the world during group stage, disrespect him by picking him first in the ro16, and then expect to win while you have a history of losing clutch matches. What's wrong with him picking Savior? He knows he can beat him and that his style is pretty damn efficient against him. It's both a decent pick and a hard enough one to be fully motivated. Also where the hell do you see any form of disrespect in picking him? It's disrespectful to the fans. Everyone knew those two were basically a notch above everyone else in the Starleague, yet Midas pissed on the fans by choosing to face Savior at the beginning and middle of the Starleague, instead of, y'know, in the finals. It was like he knew he couldn't beat Savior in a all-at-once Bo5, so he decided that the best course of action was to try to knock him out before the pressure really kicked in.

In order to prevent Midas from teching too quickly, Savior simply continued to make mutalisks while taking a 3rd gas and hiving. The failed attack early on in addition to the unusually aggressive mutalisk attack castrated Midas's offensive capabilities. Sure, wraith+MnM isn't exactly the best counter to guardians, but if you look at Midas's play, his science facility finished about 20 seconds before the guardians did. It did force him to tech later, but not nearly as late as he did. Also, even if teching earlier was a risk, he had to take it, there was no way he could beat guardians/cracklings with pure m&m on that map. Edit: I agree with everything else you said though.

I love his play, but he doesn't know how to lose, like ForU said in the old interview Mani posted on the air force team thread. When he learns that, i'll respect him much more. For the moment he's just a silly kid who can't stand the idea he lost and i'm laughing at this king of kid.

Maybe, but it's a smart pick to win the tourney. He probably did have more chances in a Bo3 with less pressure.
