Toss can expand quickly, although their transitions are definitely the riskiest (especially vs a Terran that blocks scouting with a depot and fakes an expand, which is impossible to both scout and stay even with if he does expand). On the flip side though, if Terran is going for a 1-rax CC on a 4-player map and Toss went Nexus 1st, Toss has a tremendous lead.
Vikings are fine, fantastic units, but fine (needed for killing colossi and broodlords which are also both strong units). MULEs give Terran an advantage in the extreme lategame and the effectiveness of MMM gives Terran a significant advantage in the mid-game vs Protoss. However in-between these advantages Toss will usually have a significantly better army and can go kill the Terran (or at least even up the game/get an advantage) - if Terran wasn't uber-greedy or didn't inflict any damage, in which case they deserve to win if they play correctly, yes?
Toss harass does suck at killing workers compared to everybody else, but on the other hand a warp prism with 4 zealots in it pretty much forces the whole Terran or zerg army back, otherwise you can warp in a bunch MORE zealots, which are amongst the most cost-effective units in the game in small battles (especially with charge).
EDIT: Also, Taeja is the sickest nerd on the planet right now.

Anyways, Taeja's absolutely on fire, but you could see his stamina wearing off in that match against Seed. Now with Hero coming out, I just don't see TL taking it any more...Hero is infamous for his abysmal PvP.
Nonetheless, even if TL loses tonight, I won't cheer for IM, I will cheer for Taeja. His performance this tournament has been jaw-droppingly astounding, and IM only stood a chance because they had the safety net of an extra game. That all-kill should've ended the tourney.

Taeja falls..TL falls...easy as that

Told you IM was going to win ....

sickest premature adjaculation at the end of the series

They should've ran the premature ads then Hero wins the game.

I hope this is the right thread to post this.
Firstly, amazing congratulations to Liquid Taeja with his awe-inspiring, dazzling all-kill of IM in the first series. Coupled with his performance in the second series, he deserves the MVP award. Secondly, hats off to all other players and IM for making the games fun and exciting.
As for the IPL organizers—this was my first live event, but I can't imagine a live event getting any WORSE.
1. Taeja v. Seed, Series 1 - Screen blacks out for almost the entire mid-game and we're left contemplating what must be happening. 2. Both Liquid and IM's computers had to be replaced due to technical difficulties, which is insulting to the players and the audience. 3. A little more preparation (like at MLG where there are two booths so games can move smoothly from game to game) would've saved at least 2-3 hours of pure advertisement or mindless chatter. 4. WTF was with calling the winner early? That had to be the most insulting aspect of the entire tournament. Yeah, maybe HerO was going to lose, but calling the winner early and running the winner sequence for IM WHILE THE GAME WAS STILL GOING ON has to be worse than prematurely gg'ing.
All in all, the players were amazing, but the organization was horrific.

He has said that he is preparing for his matches in Korea and doesn't want to be distracted.
However, even as a diehard IM fan and Mvp fan I can't bring myself to agree with you >< Taeja is playing out of this world right now, I'm just glad Seed was able to take him out in series 2. Well done Liquid for putting up such a good fight, especially Taeja who really carried the team and HerO needs to stop being too hard on himself, he's done his best and I'm sure he'll get another opportunity! Finally, a team championship! It's been a while since GSTL season 1 lol, IM hwaiting! xD

Seed. B-)
(even if his new hair colour is.. not to my taste)

Nice games, but sad to see how weak the rest of Liquid plays and that the whole show leans on Taeja's shoulders...without him this could have easily been a 5-0 roflstomp by IM with Seed coming out first. Nice Games anyway...but a good Team-performance looks different. Maybe IPL-TAC should switch to Proleague-format so every player has to prepare properly and be ready...

Definitely agree with you, loved the games, very impressed by Taeja's all kill, very disappointed with the organisation. I was staying up at 00:00 HKT anxiously waiting for the stream to start and all I got was a 30 minute count down, stream blackouts, a rather lackluster commentary and extremely long ad sequences. When the radio starcraft began I simply went to watch WhiteRa's stream. I know this is not GSTL or anything but seriously, I think the organizers can do better much than that.

You deliberately distorted the actual quote to make your point. "The only foreign based team left in the competition started to believe." I deliberately use phrases like 'foreign based team' to avoid precisely the problem you describe. Thus, I'm confused by why you felt the need to fake my words in order to make your trite little criticism. By saying "Deliberately" it shows you assumed that i've actually spent time thinking about my post, looked back and so on, while in reality i've posted impulsively, and didn't actually care for an argument at that point in time. In all honesty now, i'll say that Liquid honestly has no claim to fame as the "foreign-based team" who reached furthest (or whatever), because it doesn't matter IMO who pays for the team, it matters where the players came from, and I see TL currently as a Korean team with some foreigners who are there mostly for their personality (Haypro, TLO) and not for any results. I mean, if microsoft or whoever, just buys all of the best Korean players, they will become the "best foreign based team", but it just seems to me as "the team with the most money to pay Korean players", so it basically doesn't mean a lot IMO.
Are you always a huge douche-bag like that? (that's also an impulsive question )

Even though I was rooting hard for TL and Taeja, I was kinda glad IM won. It just feels weird that a foreigner team would get to the IPL TAC grand finals because one godly player carries them every time. The better team won this..
