If TL doesn't want him based on that, they really need to reconsider their priorities. Having players who don't win or don't practice, but are pleasant to be around can only take you so far.

Nah, they said they like to get lesser established players and build them up. And they aren't interested in signing a Korean.

Being an SC2 pro isn't only about winning, it is mainly about marketability. The same with almost every other sport out there.

That really isn't much of a problem with Genius. He seems extremely marketable, more so than Zenio or Taeja at least. His friendly banter and cockiness with teammates would actually vibe well within the team I think, that is one of the things they lost when Huk left and they haven't got back yet. I think if TL was set up or looking for another player they would love to have Genius, but they just aren't at the moment. If Genius wants to wait for TL to want another player I'm sure they'd take him in the future.

I have even more respect for Nazgul; a lot of foreign managers would have jumped at the chance to grab Genius, but the fact that Nazgul stayed adamant to his team philosophy is incredible. This is why Liquid is always a little better and a little different. They do things their way, and they keep faith in their players.

Ok your going first so you can prove us wrong about putting you on B-team" So MMA might be really stuck in B team if he can't manage to take out a few people during the finals in a convincing manner. Also seems like motivation as I kind of mentioned above.

I saw Reality's interview yesterday. He said that he was confident he could beat any GSL Zerg after he beat Symbol. I was shocked that there was a KeSPA player who was already better than me but after actually watching the VOD, I found that the level of play in that game was only mid-master or so. KeSPA players are good, sure, but not good enough to beat any GSL Zerg. I was eliminated from WCS qualifiers so I can't play him but I'm sure another GSL player will enjoy his free win in the tournament. I hope he's ready for what's coming to him. OH SHIT. Mr. Chae better set up a Reality vs MKP grudgematch.

That "family" philosophy is why I love team Liquid so much

Also, genius is not the kind of guy who wants to let his playstyle being dictated by strategical minds and he is only the executive, which imho is the liquid standard with koreans: find a guy with awesome textbook-mechanics but without a playstyle of his own, and find strategies that suit him. yes, thats nonys hobby;-) best fit for genius would be mill or fnatic id say.

That's the exact opposite of the kind of players TL looks for.
