But they had 2.5 years to develop proper nicks!
That's more than enough me think.

I couldn't keep reading here, because "bonjwa" is neither "first-person" nor a "pronoun." What are you talking about? He is correct; originally, "bonjwa" is a first-person pronoun (I am Korean!). It just got a new meaning in SC community. I've checked multiple sources and even consulted Daum's Korean-English dictionary. Most had no distinct meaning for bonjwa (본좌). The closest thing Daum came up with is bonje (sp?)(본제) which means the main subject, main question, or original topic. Unless there's some professional or specific polite subject, the only subjects I've seen in Korean (the subject "I" is generally understood of course) are 나 and 저.

If someone said at the beginning it was going to be a JvF finals, most would have thought Jaedong v Flash, some would have thought Jangbi v Flash, and some would have thought Jaedong v Fantasy. Nobody* thought it would be Jangbi v Fantasy.
Jangbi, you can do it.

it was disappointing it couldn't be a jaedong vs flash finals, now flash isn't even in it.
the most sickening thing about BW OSL ending is that flash is still so young, yet he won't be able to test his limits to shoot for platinum or even diamond mouse. a bonjwa at age 19, he was definately capable of accomplishing such feats, but now that BW OSL ends, those will only be "what if's" =/

Sorry for being off the topic, but... :-)
"Bonjwa" is not a common word; it is never used in day to day language. It is actually mostly used in certain fantasy genre in Korea, as a way to brag himself. 본좌 is written 本座 in Chinese letters. 本 denotes 'me' or 'myself', and '座' means 'seat' and its meaning can be extended to 'status'. So 본좌(本座) means 'a person like me with such a status!' I am actually curious whether Chinese people uses this word? Any Chinese-speaker can help me?

Ya.. but think about the B-teamers that trained for years and never even got to play on stage. I think those stories are much more tragic. And anyway, the real pros will rise again in sc2.

Whoa, interesting. I've never heard that before, but it makes some vague sort of sense; sounds like something an official/magistrate might say (complete with haughty tone and funny walk).

flash won more PROLEAGUE's than NaDa, so he is the best anyway if you judge by achievements (if im correct Nada won only 1 proleague final (if semi-seasons dont count) and flash won 2)

Among the the 21 different meanings of the character that are listed in the link, it's possible that I've missed the one meaning "me", but 本 typically means root, or origin.
Edit: Okay, "oneself" actually is the no. 10 on that list. So the 본 in 본좌 may actually have that meaning, for all I know.
