Oh, the double standards.. Anyway, great play by DRG. Well Naniwa has a history in BM-ing and also isn't that likeable compared to DRG. That one is a PR nightmare. Flaming MC/DRG/Nestea/EG. No idea what he is thinking when he says those things.
When did he flame MC/DRG/Nestea/EG? Other than pulling probes at start of game vs Nestea

Actually, it is Nestea, Byun, Seed, Symbol on one side and DRG, Nani, MC, Taeja on the other.

I thought Naniwa and DRG were decent friends since Nani spent some time in the MVP house. Lol.. regardless tho, I love the smack talk

I love the smack talk because it will bring out the best in both players in the series to come . They probably are decent friends. DRG seems like a nice guy.

I personally don't think Naniwa is a bad guy. Just socially awkward.

I feel like Puzzle is too low and Seed is too high. Oz should also be at the bottom. Pains me to say that as a huge Oz fan, but hes been massively slumping lately. Though maybe qualifying for OSL is a sign of some resurgence :D

Anyone who doesnt include Stepahno in top 5 is out of thier mind. He has money in bank and golds that put hm in top 3. He finsihes always high in tounaments with plenty of Koreans. I'd say he's the #1 consistant player as well. His weakness is lack of mind games and mixing it up like a GSL champ like MC/Nestea/MVP but he'd still make a good run in every GSL if he could deal with 2 whole months spent chasing an inprobable 44K. Face it - GSL is strung out too long and is too hard for amount of money up for grabs and odds of taking it for mosr foeinergs to bother. Not to mention in a totally alien culture Can't fault him for that.
I admire nani for trying 'to be the best' but Stephano openly states he's a money man. Different strokes for different folks but you can't hold his non-GSL attendance against him IMO when internationally he matches up well vs top Koreans.

lol DRG so confident against Naniwa, rightfully so
|
great interviews and entertaining matches though I am sad Ryung and Supernova couldn't go farther, I am glad Zerg is succeeding this season. A lot of the games were sloppy from all players, but still fun and some strong play was shown overall.

You will face Naniwa in ro8
I can do whatever I want and still win. That’s all I have to say.
I am going to watch this match lol. Should be even better than a normal Naniwa game.

His place as in, GSL Champion?

So weird the double standard people have in this community. Korean pros say jokey arrogant stuff about other players all the time, but if Naniwa says anything similar people assume he's 100% serious and BM. Imagine the shitstorm there would have been if Naniwa had danced his units when beating Genius, and yet Korean players (including DRG) dance their units all the time as well as dropping manner mules, making manners nexuses etc.
And lol at people trying to say DRG is usually humble- I've seen DRG say plenty of cocky things in other interviews.
There's nothing wrong with players talking smack sometimes and some of you need to realize Naniwa just does the same thing the Korean players do and stop acting so butthurt about him.

I would like to see Naniwa win this in close series and make a huge upset...again!
|
This RO8 looks so sick... I want everyone in the finals except Seed ^^, hoping for a TvT between Byun and Taeja as finals.

Uhhh there is no double standard in this scenario.
DRG is similar to MC. They said plenty of stuff that make people think they are cocky but in reality they are humble people. Those comments they make are for the sake of entertainment.(Idra said MC make many ceremonies on him but MC is a nice person in general).Same here with DRG smacktalking with Naniwa.
I agreed with you there is nothing wrong with players smack talking sometimes but the thing is Naniwa has a history in BM-ing and has created many controversial events and so on eventhough he has now improved in terms of skill and personality compare to the past. The bad history will always be there whereas DRG doesn't have any. That's why some people are butthurt about him or so you called it.
Also, DRG is a GSL Champion.XD
