SlayerS fighting!! I want to see their entire team try to qualify!

EDIT 1: They updated the form with an English Name field. EDIT 2: Apparently foreigners don't need the English Name field. It must be for romanizing Korean names then. EDIT 3: They've added Google translated labels to the fields now
http://sc2.esportsnjoy.com/request
In case there are any foreign players who want to register the fields are in this order:
Name
English Name (Foreigners do not need to fill in apparently. Might as well just write your name again though)
Date of Birth (year-month-day)
Gender (first option is male, second is female)
Email
Phone (without hyphens)
Battle net ID
Race (first option is Terran, second option is Protoss, third option is Zerg)
Character name
Character code
Battle net tag
Ladder screenshot (attach a screenshot so they can confirm your ladder points)
Other information (write anything you want about yourself)
Password for editing (enter a password for when you need to edit your registration details)
Captcha image
Then click the button below.
If you need to edit your details go here: http://sc2.esportsnjoy.com/board/join_sc2 Find your name (third column) and click your post (second column). Enter your password and press the button next to it.

How does foreigners participate in it? Or they are allowing them for the time being?
Edit: ops someone answered above me.

Master on Korean server, I assume? (they should always include that in the rule though)
It's quite amazing that the OSL (okay, its SC2 clone) would now be open to the world so much. I mean, it's the OSL. How many foreigners have even imagined they could be in an OSL qualifier, like ever.

That's pretty interesting. I guess they are doing giving them their own qualifiers to maximize viewers and also give the Kespa players a little more time to catch up. Wonder how they'll end up doing. This could end up bad if they take half the slots in the tournament and then just get stomped.

Is there any news regarding conflicts between GSL and OSL scheduling?
Like let's say, a very real possibility, is that someone like MVP is in pool play for both tournaments. Something happens to fall on a day, do OSL and GSL talk, or does MVP just ask one of two if things can be moved?
Or will these events occur somewhat different times? Which would be odd considering GSL happens prime Korean time, so I imagine there will be scheduling conflicts in there somewhere.

Wow, they're really letting GSL players enter sooner than I thought this could be interesting.

This is just going to be dominated by Korean team players.

So no fnatic/Liquid players allowed to qualify? D: EDIT: Oh, at least meet ONE of the conditions.
|
No complexity?
edit: nm GTR's edit is correct, says meet 1. Unless it's a snafu.

No, but they can still send a picture of their rating like everyone else.

I hope they keep things simple with respect to scheduling... now that the GSL's shifted to just 5 tourney's a year... there' more breathing space for other major tournaments to borrow their players etc. To my knowledge, OSL happens 3 times a year or 2? plus the SPL's... hopefully, there won't be too much saturation and players will be able to perform on multiple stages...

hmm i like this format hahah. but yea its a little easier to for the kespa teams, but it guarantees kespa vs gsl players which i like.

BW and SC2 players will finally meet in a tournament? hot dog

Excited to see who qualifies, I expect a completely different field than Code S since it all depends on one qualifier and who is better on that day.

Also because Code S has had a full year to prune itself of players who got lucky for a few games. Also I would be sort of shocked if qualifying KESPA players look decent against there GOM counterparts.

Yeah, first condition seems somewhat redundant. Maybe to protect the bnet identity of players who don't have known bnet IDs (if there are such players on these teams). So they don't submit bnet ID, just team membership.
OR (more likely) just to reduce administrative work - these teams will each submit a list of players who will get accepted immediately without going through checking their bnet standing etc.
