I don't understand this line of logic though. If he gets played as a traditional AD carry he'll probably be shit. Because instead of auto-attacking you'll need to move around like a jackass and catch your axes. So late game when my AD carry is doing like 1.9 or 2.1 attacks per second and you're autoing, then taking a split second to move over an inch to catch your stupid axe, you're going to do a fuck ton less damage than my team's AD carry. Maybe he'll get made into a bruiser. Or maybe him catching axes won't effect his dps output as badly as I'm thinking it will. But honestly the idea of having to move to random locations nearby to catch your axe for maximum dps sounds absolutely terrible from an AD carry perspective. Like, positioning is the single most important thing for an AD carry during team fights and this champion comes along with a mechanic that will fuck up his positioning if he wants to do maximum damage. I dunno, his kit seems way better for a solo lane than a duo lane. His kit seems really weird and awkward for an AD carry imo. edit: He looks interesting and a bit unique. Props to Riot for that. I just don't see why I'd want to ever catch my axes in late game as Draven. If he isn't too reliant on axe catching he'll probably be ok.
Axe locations are not random, they land in the direction you're heading the moment your attack hits. There's a slight amount of error, but you have control over where the axes go. Because you have control and catching axes refreshes both of Draven's steroids (i.e. his 85% bonus damage and 60%/40% bonus move/attack speed) it's the ability to direct and catch axes which will separate the bad Dravens from the ridiculously OP omg ban immediately Dravens.

IIRC his ult does 175 base each hit... I think that's too little dmg lol. What do you guys think?

Its his most useless spell assuming you're AD. If you want to play AP maps(not sure why you would =\) then yeah, this is a solid buff. I will probably play around with max W first after this buff in bot lane. Use W harass to win bot lane before maxing Q or E. I mean, using W to harass in lane bottom was already strong even for AD Ez (not just cause of the damage that goes through creeps but also because the AS debuff is noticeable). The only real downside to it was that with AD build Q is gonna result in more damage if you can hit it and W had too high of a mana cost. W is much more consistent damage in bot lane though even with AD build. edit: You'll probably still need like a Soraka support for max W though. That or you'll have to pick up mana pots on first back. I've seen Genja from M5 max W first on Ez and build him similar to Urgot with Brut/FH. Your burst is actually higher with max W than Q (of course sustained damage in a prolonged battle is probably lower since Q has a shorter CD).

So I was looking at the free champs this week and it looks like a free week from hell in terms of people doing poorly. I'm almost scared to play normals with Heimer, Urgot, Vayne, Kass and Wukong free. Anyone else seeing this week being slightly terrifying in terms of stupidity coming out with people trying crazy things on these champs?

It's only a 5 pages thread, you could at least check out the previous page. It's 175 per hit, up to you to land both when few to no minions are in the way. And the scaling is far from bad.

not quite the right place but
lol, darius, vayne and wukong free this week.

free weeks are meaningless now that I can't play them in ranked on my smurfs .

The range changes are nice for swain, but that's more a quality of life thing, rather than buff. His auto attack animation is still one of the worst in game. The big change is the increased slow. Tbh biggest thing holding back swain is his ability to CS pre-6. PSA: Swain outranging everyone and his mum top lane ain't no buffs. Also, Swain's AA-Animation got buffed a while ago, so everything that's holding him back from CSing pre 6 are your own lackluster lasthitting skills.

So really looking for another jungler to use, i mostly main Udyr, with a bit of nocturne mundo and nautilis mixed in. Is LS still worth using? I was thinking of trying to play shyvana again but.. shes just an inferior version of mundo so I dunno.

What I found highly interesting / enlightening was M5's itemization, something which I think is instrumental to their success in most teamfights. M5's jungler, Diamondez almost always gets Aegis, which is obviously a super efficient item during teamfights where everyone stands to benefit from the aura. GoSu Pepper typically starts Faerie Charm into Heart of Gold, forgoing Philo Stone's sustain for the additional health buffer which is typically useful only for teamfights. In addition, GoSu Pepper goes for Zeke's Herald in a lot of games, even ones where M5 goes double AP. Where most teams spend their support gold on Philo Stone -> Shurelya's, M5's support gold is spent on Zeke's Herald which provides actual combat benefits.
An extreme example of M5's itemizing for teamfights/lategame is Dar1en, who often forgoes WARDS and makes up for his lack of vision by playing push-out+recall/invade (the need for wards to counter lane ganks is significantly lowered when you aren't in lane).
yay m5 still goes zekes on gosu and aegis on diamondz.

Lee Sin is fine and still very strong, I think both Amumu and Malphite are really good niche picks with the right teamcomps, Alistar is a jungler you should probably look into, Blitzcrank if you can make him work for you, I personally can't and still think he's better off as a support. Then, there's Maokai who is pretty great and Jarvan who is simply underrated and one of the most rewarding champions to play, simply based on the sheer amount of possibilities. You can peel for your AD, dive their carries, initiate or not... Yeah. Jarv is the man.

I wouldn't say Shyvana is an inferior version of Mundo, yeah she's less tankier in general but she outputs a lot of consistent damage as well as a very mobile jungler with her short W cooldown.

I didn´t play LoL in season 1, so I wonder if you get any awards for ranked play at the end of the season?
What would the requirements for these awards be if they do exist?

What would the requirements for these awards be if they do exist? Gold level players (1520 Elo) got a special Jarvan skin and the champion with it at the end of S1.
