STARTS IN ROUGHLY 4 HOURS. 12:00 PM CENTRAL US TIME, 7:00 PM CENTRAL EUROPE TIME The tournament will be run as follows: Log on to SC2 and Join the chat channel BC3EU1. This is the chat channel you will use to find your opponent and create a match with him. Use the brackets above to find your opponent. If you have any questions, concerns, or judgements to settle, talk to me. Here are the starting maps for each round, and the Best of. Loser of the previous map chooses the next map. No vetoes in Qualifiers. ROUND AND STARTING MAP LIST - UPDATED FOR NUMBER OF PLAYERS Round 1: Best of 3, Starting map: Ohana Round 2: Best of 3, Starting map: Daybreak Round 3: Best of 3, Starting map: Entombed Valley Round 4: Best of 5, Starting map: Cloud Kingdom Here is the Map Pool: Antiga Shipyard • Cloud Kingdom • Entombed Valley • Ohana • Atlantis Spaceship • Daybreak • Metropolis For each map, use the GSL version of the map. Use your best judgement on this. On a personal note, something came up late last night and I didn't get a lot of sleep. There has been a crisis involving a grade in one of my classes taken this past semester, and I need to fix it asap. It's the type of crisis that if not fixed immediately, it could cost me almost 3 letter grades, and basically screw me over royally for my last year. If I am not on to cast/admin the tournament, I apologize, but this is something I HAVE to take care of. I hope you all can understand. I trust you guys to run this tournament fairly, and the brackets should be able to be edited by you guys with the link. Thanks once again for being the best community ever. A New Gaming Tournament for Bronies, this time in League of Legends! This tournament will be held on June 23, 2012 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (GMT -05:00) and is a full open tournament, meaning anyone can enter, from the 2200 ELO to the level 1 Newbie. We simply ask the following: 1. Have basic knowledge of the game. At least read something online so you know basic controls and terms. 2. Try to have one champion to fill each role, Solo Top, AP Carry, AD Carry, Support and Jungle 3. Have fun and be friendly, this is a fun non-competitive tournament meant to help gather up Gaming Bronies How to Join: Due to Bronycraft using numbers, we use letters! Simply reply in this thread in the following format: A) League of Legends Name and Level B) If Applicable, your experience. I'm trying to balance the teams between pros and new people, so putting how much you've played is really helpful. C) For Brony Confirmation, state your favorite side or background character, because background Ponies make the show. D) Your Main Role. While it'd be nice if you can play ANY role, if you're more comfortable playing AD Carry over jungle, here is the place to say it. E) Make sure this thread stays Pony, post something else pony related in this post, picture, link to a fanfic, piece of music, anything Pony. G) Because I hate the letter F, and to make sure you're paying attention, Copy-Pasta all the letters above and send it to me in a Private message, so your entry doesn't get lost in the masses of Pinkie Pie. How the tournament is held: -The tournament will be streamed at my League of Legends stream at http://www.twitch.tv/Omgitsapally -Teams will be attempted to be balanced between the new and old players, we encourage you to tell your friends to sign up, but that in no way guarantees you will be on a team with them to help keep it fair. -All Games will be 5v5 on Summoner's Rift, following EU West style of play of a Solo Top, an AP Carry Mid, a Jungler, and an AD Carry and a Support going bottom, you can modify this if your team agrees to it, but don't be a meanie pants and take the mid as someone like Rammus. -The Tournament will be live commentated by myself, but having a dual comm is always more entertaining, if you want to apply send me a private message with your Skype name so we can get into a call and see if you are the fun and entertaining co-commentator I need, extensive knowledge of the Meta helps! -Due to the Length of games and I'm unsure of how long the tournament will last based on how many replies I get, it will be single elimination in randomized brackets, sorry if you get knocked out early, but you can always stick around the stream and watch the other games. Adding an update: got two brohoofs in epcot today. One was wearing a vinyl cutiemark shirt the other twilight read a book shirt with an mlp belt. Tomorrow hopefully alot more. Camera battery died and forgot to pack chager so cellphone pics soon. Hope everyones doing good /) Star | ||
